hmmm ray's right! Makes EXTREME sense. It IS very very ridiculously impossible for a soda can to manifest itself and "just happen" and that's just a simple soda can for cryin' out loud. How much more impossible is it for this eternally deep, meaningful and complex existence, realm and reality and all the harmonious and interconnected life within it to have just "caused" itself. There has to be a being and maker too great for us to begin understand to have created all this. Christ makes sense.
@DigitalDelay07 No Sir, Christ does not make sense. I was a Christian for twenty years and becoming more familiar with my Bible (and religion in general) resulted in my apostasy.
Just for one example (and there are many), the Bible doesn't mention anything about evolution and indicates a 'creation' with human beings in present form. Evolution would point towards a far different beginning. We might now know how life original begain (abiogenesis) but evolution is a fact of life.
@CynicalSkeptic1 for me..my own opinion.>>> man didn't evolve because God created us in human form not in an animal form....if we truly went into the process of evolution then Adam and Eve are monkeys....does it make sense to you?
@102rhythm I just read my statement and I apologize for the typos. The last sentence was supposed to say "We might not know how life originally began (abiogenesis) but evolution is a fact of life."
I will post some information that you (and others viewing this channel) might find helpful. Evolution doesn't just have transitional fossil evidence any longer...the DNA record proves evolution. Also, scientists utilize evolutionary theory in scientific advancement every day. (cont)
@102rhythm Evolution is agreed upon by the vast majority of relevant scientists (completely dwarfing any contradictory viewpoint)....and is also frequently utilized in numerous fields of scientific study. I will post a few (and I have many more) examples of exactly how evolution is ONLY rejected when it conflicts with religious bias.
@102rhythm James McCarter of Divergence Incorporated states that the work of 2001 Nobel Prize winner Leland Hartwell which has substantial implications for combatting cancer relied heavily on the use of evolutionary knowledge and predictions. McCarter points out that 47 of the last 50 Nobel Prizes in medicine or physiology also depended on the use of EVOLUTIONARY theory.
@102rhythm In fact, EVOLUTION is being put to practical use in industry and widely used on a DAILY basis by researchers in medicine, biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics to both formulate hypotheses about biological systems for the purposes of experimental design, as well as to rationalize observed data and prepare applications.
@102rhythm Belief in creationism is inversely correlated to education; only 22% of those with post-graduate degrees believe in strict creationism. In 2006, New Scientist reported that almost 2/3 of Americans believe they share less than half their genes with "monkeys", when in fact the figure is between 95--99% depending on the primate.
@102rhythm The level of support for creationism among relevant scientists is minimal. Only 700 out of 480,000 U.S. earth and life scientists gave credence to creationism in 1987,[21] representing about 0.146% of relevant scientists. Darwin Dissenters represent about 0.0157% of the US biologists that existed in 1999.
@102rhythm Many Creationists prefer to state that Micro-evolution is valid and Macro-evolution is not. The only reason that Micro-E is accepted by Creationists is because it has been proven repeatedly under controlled conditions and there are many examples of Micro-E that we can view in everyday life. Macro-E is not accepted since it would then be confirming that Creation was inaccurate. (cont)
@102rhythm "Micro-evolution" and "Macro-evolution" are not recognized as sub-groups of evolution by the biological scientific community...there is only "evolution". PubMed(dot)gov reports that there are 179 publications on "Macro-E", 341 publications on "Micro-E" and 247,308 publications on "evolution". Even the "platypus" has 414 publications...so there are more articles about one animal than Micro-E or Macro-E.
@102rhythm We cannot possibly 'prove' what is considered Macro-E because these changes take place over hundreds of thousands or millions of years. Yet, there is no mechanism which limits genetic change over time. What the two categories truly signify is the limits of any particular human's *belief*. This would be considered a non-existent division between 'believable' and 'unbelievable' based on religious 'faith' from a 2,000 year old holy book.
@102rhythm Atomic Theory, Theory of Matter and Energy, Cell Theory, Germ Theory, Theory of Plate Tectonics, Theory of Evolution, Theory of Quantum Mechanics, Theory of Relativity, Theory of Light Energy, Theory of Electromagnetism, Theory of Radioactivity, Theory of Molecular Bonds, Theory of Homeostasis, Theory of Gravity, etc..
These are all theories also...but only evolution and the Big Bang are disputed. The reason is because they conflict with a 2,000 year old holy book.
@102rhythm OUTSIDE OF SCIENCE, 'theory' means speculation or 'unproven conjecture'. The definition for 'theory' in a scientific context is "a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world; an organized system of accepted knowledge that applies in a variety of circumstances to explain a specific set of phenomena; "theories can incorporate FACTS and LAWS and tested hypotheses"; 'true in fact and theory'." (cont)
@102rhythm Here is another example: "a logical, systematic set of principles or explanation that has undergone testing or validation from careful observations and HAS STOOD UP AGAINST ATTEMPTS TO PROVE IT FALSE. A scientific theory can be used to make a variety of predictions of what will happen under different circumstances."
@102rhythm As you can see, theory is defined differently in science. It doesn't go FROM a THEORY and get 'promoted' TO a LAW. You cannot say "It's ONLY a theory" when you are speaking of the scientific meaning. Evolution is a fact of life...there is no way to dispute it unless you are intellectualy dishonest or an imbecile without knowledge of evolutional theory. Let me know if you would like more detailed information with specific sources.
@102rhythm Sorry for the large number of posts...the information is posted for other Youtube viewers in addition to yourself.
Anyhow, there is so much overwhelming evidence for the theory of evolution that the MAJORITY of religious believers in the world also believe in evolution. Here is a link:
@CynicalSkeptic1 sorry its just my opinion but I respect yours, but you mentioned earlier that you are a christian for 20 years but you didn't understand what is really meant in the bible....you've been a christian but not bornagain,.... am I right?
@102rhythm "but you mentioned earlier that you are a christian for 20 years but you didn't understand what is really meant in the bible..."
Sir, it isn't difficult to understand. The Bible has a veritable plethora of fairy-tale-like stories which are utterly absurd (no offense, just stating truth). The only reason that I was introduced to the Christian faith is because of where I was born and it was my parents belief. If I were born another place, I would probably have worshipped another god.
what if we figured out what came before the big bang, and develope vehicles that can take us farther into space and discover hundreds or thousands of earth like planets with living beings on them, would we still say that earth is unique? and what if we could demonstrate life appearing from nothing beyond quantum mechanics, would we still say that its impossible for life to come from nothing?
"Everything about us has been made with purpose in mind..."
Okay then there's surely a purpose for our tail bones, wisdom teeth, the vas deferens females have, the uteruses men have, the muscles and bones some of us are born with that others don't have, and sinuses. Surely.
You also can find Him. Believe it. At the second you trust Him and invites Him to your heart and you turn away from you sins, He will give you a NEW heart, new desires a new person. You will be born again.
Please, do it so on your privacy. Give it a thought.
Kirk. I was an athiest too. The education system helped with that. But my heart stopped in 2008. I met Jesus and I now love him. He forgave me even though I was cheating and fearful.
Wow, that was a nice Darwin quote mine, as well as a nice misrepresentation of Einstein's position. Comfort has no issue spreading lies and brainwashing children, which I assume is the intended audience for this video.
Wow, it doesn't matter how many times you refute Comfort's repetitive arguments for God's existence to his face, yet he still preaches it. That is called intellectual dishonesty.
Interesting that no other foods has been designed to fit exactly into our hands! Are we not supposed to eat any other foods? Perhaps god put this plan into action when we were still monkeys?
coloursoftheocean i dont believe in god i have been an atheist since i was five and no offense but nothing you can really say will help change my mind to me there is no proof of god
i just wish people would show real proof of god i honestly can say i dont believe in one but if christians want to try and convert us atheists then bring some real proof
@MrLovejoy91 I agree that this vid really isn't giving any answers, do you mean you don't believe in God and believe in evolution? How are you seeing it? I'm hoping I might give you a few answers that this vid hasn't been able to give. I don't mean to start a debate and argue, no rudeness is intended sir.
Ok, ok... I believe you Creationists. The banana convinced me. BUT don't ever condemn me for jerking off nor your daughter for giving me a handjob; because, my cock fits perfectly in my hand and her hand! My cock is then, the celibate's nightmare.
I had to pause this video so as to compose myself just within the first four minutes because I wanted to jump in there and explain in explicit detail everything that is wrong with everything that these two utter.
the best question for any religious person is what dawkins asked, would you still belive in a christian god if you were born in india, answer NO YOU FUCKING WOULDNT, so grow up and start living life,to be fair though i am addicted to watching these two,so in a sense these two are sending me to hell, bastards
For the love of Jebus, how can people still say that evolution is "just a theory"? You have the internet at your disposal, therefore you have no excuse not to educate yourself. Please look up the meaning of SCIENTIFIC theory before spouting nonsense again.
You don't have to be Richard Dawkins to argue against this stuff. There was a 'builder' of the universe- the forces of nature. These forces made neccesary changes over billion of years. Please don't tell me that some old guy, after typing madly away for six days came up with a masterpiece first draft. When does that happen anywhere else?
Evolution is a theory, not a fact. Also, I have to ask, `scientifically and logically` how something can come from nothing. To me that doesn`t seem more rational than putting my trust and hope in God the creator.

@giggiea1 If I may, i would like to clarify that although evolution is a theory, it is one of the most well supported theories ever, coming in close behind the theory of gravity and the germ theory. Also, evolution doesnt claim/describe "something coming from nothing." It only serves to explain the diversity of life. Evolution has absolutely nothing to say about the origins of the universe or life. In finishing, evolution is logical/rational. If it wasnt, it wouldnt have survived for 150 years.
@giggiea1 ... Theory in science has a different meaning to theory as used in every day usage. Theory in it's common ever day usage term simply means no more than a guess or hunch. But scientific theory has a different meaning... it is the over arching principle into which facts are integrated the more facts you have the stronger the theory. Scientific theories are not waiting to become facts... Einsteins theory of relativity for example, will never become the fact of relativity.
It's hilarious that Ray Comfort got called on his banana bs so often that he actually acknowledged that the banana he's holding was a cultivated banana. The "wild" banana is pretty disgusting and awkward.
The banana, is a freakish and fragile genetic mutant; one that has survived through the centuries due to the sustained application of selective breeding by diligent humans, not God.
Hey I love this video as I am a proud believer in Jesus but I think you should disable your video comments, you are getting a lot of ungrateful comments. If you guys dont like this videos, go somewhere else and post your dirty comments. ^^
Wait. So because a soft drink can was made and designed by humans everything else has to be designed????
I've noticed that the trees outside my house move whenever it's windy, therefore the trees must make the wind.
Also, of course 7 leaves could fall from a tree and land in a line. It's very unlikely but it could happen. Especially if that tree was dropping leaves randomly for billions and billions of years.
"(Next) and if any variation or modification in the organ be ever useful to an animal under changing conditions of life, then the difficulty of believing that a perfect and complex eye could be formed by natural selection, though insuperable by our imagination, can hardly be considered real."
5:00 Quote mining ftw. Here is the rest of the quote : "Yet reason tells me, that if numerous gradations from a perfect and complex eye to one very imperfect and simple, each grade being useful to its possessor, can be shown to exist; if further, the eye does vary ever so slightly, and the variations be inherited, which is certainly the case; (...)"
@CynicalSkeptic1 NO THEY DIDN'T! lmao making myself seem like one of their fans. In all honesty, they underwent part the mumification process of Ancient Egypt. Look up what happens to the brain.
I can't believe people are as dumb as these two morons. Wild bananas are stubby little things with thick skins that don't peel well, and they are full of hard seeds. The Cavendish banana he is holding is a cultivated fruit. The characteristics he is touting as proof of God are the result of human beings breeding the plant to be that way! And the result is a sterile polyploid plant that cannot even reproduce on it's own. Christian shit heads!!!
@warlord90210 How is it flawed? It makes sence. God is eternal he has always existed with no beginning and no ending, He is the creator and everything began with him. It isnt flawed you just don't understand.
@lexis1234 I was waiting for someone to say this. If God can be and always will be, why can't the things that started the big bang for example just be and always will be? You say everything needs a beginning, yet "God" apparently can just be infinite. Then why can this also not be true for what I stated above? Why is "God" above these things?
That's why this concept is flawed, because you just make points to fit your argument so you're never wrong...
@warlord90210 The reason why the "things" gases or any kind of substance that started the so called big bang can't be eternal OR ALWAYS BE is because a mind was envolved with creating the universe. Everything in our universe including us is too complex to be made from just random chemicles. God is above these things because well he's the creator. He is eteternal. Its really simple think of energy you can not create it nor restore it it just is.
@warlord90210 According to this common theological argument, nothing so complex as the universe with all of its accompanying natural laws could possibly have occurred simply due to random chance; ergo, it must have all been designed and created by some being which believers label “god.”
@lexis1234 So, let me get this straight... Things LESS complex than God simply cannot exist, yet, this so called "God" can just exist? Where is the logic in this. Your ENTIRE argument is based on the fact that something complex as the molecules and atoms and gasses etc that were used to create a big bang are impossible to be because of their complexity... yet something EXTREMELY MORE complex than them, which is supposedly "God" can exist.
@warlord90210 What or who created the molecues atoms gasses? They had to come from some where. Nonthing can not create something. God can just exist because he was the one who created everything. In order to create time, space, matter, gases or anything you have to exist outside of it. You can't already be inside of the universe when creating it...It's impossible. It's like me trying to build a car by sitting in it! You see how illlogical that is?
@warlord90210 Also the question who created God is illogical just like to whom is the Bachlor married to? The question you should be asking is if the universe needs a cause to be made then why don't God need a cause too? After all everything that has a beginning is subject to cause and effect.
@warlord90210 Since God, by definition, is the creator of the whole universe, he is the creator of time. Therefore He is not limited by the time dimension He created or , so has no beginning in time God is the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity (Isaiah 57:15). Therefore He doesn't have a cause
No, Einstein wasn't a Deist, he was a Naturalistic pantheism. It is a common mistake to think that Einstein was a Deist, though, as the two groups share similarities. He believed god was nature.
Darwin and Einstein are rolling over in their graves, metaphorically speaking. This is the worst made "how to convince an atheism" shtick, I've ever heard.
@TheMandynichole No I think you misunderstand, typical of religious believers, we REJECT your claim that a god exists. We don't make any positive assertions that there is no god, we LACK a belief in any gods until you guys prove that there is one.
Why should skepticism be frowned upon? In science, doubt is the norm until the evidence is presented to back up the claim. Of course, there are, and probably will always be things that will never be fully explained, and there will always be things that science will never be able to explain. It's only natural that we doubt and ask questions. I personally believe in a higher power, but I have a hard time believing that it created the world in six days and slept in on the seventh.
Einstein wasn't an atheist but he was nothing like a Christian either. He believed in an impersonal god and didn't believe in hell, the Judaeo-Christian codes etc. He just believed that ''nature'' was god. He is a pantheist.
Also, I love the way they are usually the death of innocent bugs to prove their points! LOL
Einstein wasn't an atheist but he was nothing like a Christian either. He believed in an impersonal god and didn't believe in hell, the Judaeo-Christian codes etc. He just believed that ''nature'' was god. He is a pantheist.
Does this mean when it's raining, there is someone in the sky making the rain?
I do believe that exists a superior entity, called it God or whatever you want, but I don't believe that "makes" things, and I don't think the human mind has the capacity to process and understand such entity.
It's a matter of faith, you believe it or you don't believe it, and that's it.
Well, I see it now, it is so clear to me, I really believe, fairy tales are real so there you have it, there must have been a fairy tale teller. And so this proves the existence of god, period. WOOAW!!!
It was in front of my eyes all the time and I just did not see it ... I just hope god forgives me ... 40000 nerve endings, 100000 times a second, so complex that science had to measure and observe it for you to mention it ... unbelievable.
@sylvanha One thing is true, if it took “millions of years” for the original banana to “evolve” and it only took a few generations to develop the banana that is common today then man must be either greater than God or foolish in their belief that evolution is true to begin with.
@mahavite You have no clue eh? You don't have the slightest notion of what agricultural eugenics or what genetic engineering are... who are you people? do you come directly from the middle age? Most of us don't even believe in tribal deities since the industrial age... and you question the principles of biology while having absolutely no idea what those principles are... wow...
@reggie46404 Enlightening comment! May I know in a little more detail what caused this surge of anger on your part? Or will we stand at a stalemate where I will wonder why my rectum has a lower I.Q. than the average rectum?
@reggie46404 Well that was truly enlightening. Thank you for unveiling the shroud of mystery surrounding this marvelously well thought reply on a subject we have yet to identified. Ah the ways of the theist are a marvel becoming more and more rare since the middle ages!
@sylvanha I believe what they are truly trying to say is it had to be God's plan for all things on this earth were designed with us in mind. We will never agree on if there is a God or not. Just live your life the best way you can. Love and respect your fellow man and you will see Christ for yourself. I just hope I see you on the other side my friend.
@sylvanha Naw. I just wanted to see how you would react. Honestly I understand why you would react the way you would because they didn't really explain anything. It all comes down to what you believe in though and I choose Christianity. I have a lot of faith in Jesus Christ and to me there are too many things that prove that he really did exist. All I can tell you really is look at the times. Do you really thing that we evolved from apes or do you actually think that we were created by (TBC)
@berner It was more of a point on the argument "it takes more faith to be an atheist." As babies have very little faith, being an atheist requires no faith at all.
@Gerstein1 It seems alittle desperate for the atheist community to base a good part of their argument on the rather small ignorance of a few people. Also I do believe in god however I will not get into an argument about his ignorance it always ends the same with me being insulted.
@DanMarik I will try to avoid insulting, if you agree to avoid as well. Don't take anything I say about the religion personally. You do realize you are insulting many people when you say the ignorance of a few people. Just because it is a minority doesn't mean it's wrong. Anti-witch hunters were a minority. Anti-Hitlers in Germany were scarce. Anti-slavery was a minority, as well as pro-woman rights. Just because they are a minority, doesn't mean they're ignorant. Justify your belief if you can.
@Gerstein1 I do not not insult that is a childish gesture. Let me clean up my words. I was saying that Mr. Banana Man here is the ignorant one. I do believe in God AND evolution. Most believers now-a-days take the word of the bible to be literal words instead of the analogy they were meant to be. I regret to inform you that I will not be debating my beliefs. For the simple fact I am already doing this process with 2 other people over youtube.
@Gerstein1 Second of all some of the information you gave was incorrect. Many men were Anti-Slavery (have you forgotten the slaves themselves?) lmao that was a joke no negative retort please. But on a more serious note the Anti-"Hitlers" were far more common then the American/French media would care to let on, many housed Jews on their exodus to Switzerland my grandparents being one of the many who is responsible for three families who made it to safety.
Me @ the creator-of-the-can argument (after I was done facepalming, that is): "You say that, If I, Stumbled on a watch I'd assume it had a watchmaker, That a muffin presupposes a baker, So we must agree sooner or later, That this proves there's a creator. So if I put my foot in a stinker, You'd assume the existence of a sphincter, Thus you don't need to be a great thinker, To conclude that God's a bum," - Excerpt from '10 Foot Cock and a few Hundred Virgins', by Tim Minchin
Einstien believed in god, but not in the sense they understand god. Einstien's god was one of order and physical laws. He did not believe in a god who answered prayer.
evolution within a species is true, but not for the creation of the universe! There isn't evidence for evolution there is a ton of evidence for creation. Even Darwin questioned his theory.
evolution is a biological theory. It's not a theory of the beginning of the universe... It's silly to bring them up together (like most brainwashed religious people do)
(continued) do not have time to waste so please for your own time sake stop trying to convert people to atheism. If we are all going to die and there is noting after this then why bother watching these videos at all why try to convince people. WHY CARE????
@LegoDarthTater ...for you to get upset about and less for non theists like myself to feel upset about. People have a right to voice their opinion about anything, including religion. Just as religious folks are allowed to not approve of and speak out against say, homosexuals, non religious folks are allowed to not approve and speak out against the repression of homosexuals. You can't just say "Just leave us alone!!" and then band together to help make proposition 8 a reality, for example.

CynicalSkeptic1 3 months ago
@102rhythm We cannot possibly 'prove' what is considered Macro-E because these changes take place over hundreds of thousands or millions of years. Yet, there is no mechanism which limits genetic change over time. What the two categories truly signify is the limits of any particular human's *belief*. This would be considered a non-existent division between 'believable' and 'unbelievable' based on religious 'faith' from a 2,000 year old holy book.
CynicalSkeptic1 3 months ago
CynicalSkeptic1 3 months ago
@102rhythm OUTSIDE OF SCIENCE, 'theory' means speculation or 'unproven conjecture'. The definition for 'theory' in a scientific context is "a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world; an organized system of accepted knowledge that applies in a variety of circumstances to explain a specific set of phenomena; "theories can incorporate FACTS and LAWS and tested hypotheses"; 'true in fact and theory'." (cont)
CynicalSkeptic1 3 months ago
@102rhythm Here is another example: "a logical, systematic set of principles or explanation that has undergone testing or validation from careful observations and HAS STOOD UP AGAINST ATTEMPTS TO PROVE IT FALSE. A scientific theory can be used to make a variety of predictions of what will happen under different circumstances."
CynicalSkeptic1 3 months ago
@102rhythm As you can see, theory is defined differently in science. It doesn't go FROM a THEORY and get 'promoted' TO a LAW. You cannot say "It's ONLY a theory" when you are speaking of the scientific meaning. Evolution is a fact of life...there is no way to dispute it unless you are intellectualy dishonest or an imbecile without knowledge of evolutional theory. Let me know if you would like more detailed information with specific sources.

If I were born another place, I would probably have worshipped another god.

giggiea1 8 months ago
@giggiea1 If I may, i would like to clarify that although evolution is a theory, it is one of the most well supported theories ever, coming in close behind the theory of gravity and the germ theory. Also, evolution doesnt claim/describe "something coming from nothing." It only serves to explain the diversity of life. Evolution has absolutely nothing to say about the origins of the universe or life. In finishing, evolution is logical/rational. If it wasnt, it wouldnt have survived for 150 years.
ItsEasyIfYouThink 7 months ago
@giggiea1 ... Theory in science has a different meaning to theory as used in every day usage. Theory in it's common ever day usage term simply means no more than a guess or hunch. But scientific theory has a different meaning... it is the over arching principle into which facts are integrated the more facts you have the stronger the theory. Scientific theories are not waiting to become facts... Einsteins theory of relativity for example, will never become the fact of relativity.

So you need a painter to make a painting.
You need a builder to make a building.
Now... who created the painter and the builder?
Well, their parents did of course.
You could even say that "God" created them...
But if the painter and builder need a creator, who was God's creator?
The answer is, it's impossible for a God to have a creator, if he did, that creator would need a creator as well.
This concept of God is extremely flawed.
warlord90210 1 year ago
@warlord90210 How is it flawed? It makes sence. God is eternal he has always existed with no beginning and no ending, He is the creator and everything began with him. It isnt flawed you just don't understand.
lexis1234 1 year ago
@lexis1234 I was waiting for someone to say this. If God can be and always will be, why can't the things that started the big bang for example just be and always will be? You say everything needs a beginning, yet "God" apparently can just be infinite. Then why can this also not be true for what I stated above? Why is "God" above these things?
That's why this concept is flawed, because you just make points to fit your argument so you're never wrong...
warlord90210 1 year ago
@warlord90210 The reason why the "things" gases or any kind of substance that started the so called big bang can't be eternal OR ALWAYS BE is because a mind was envolved with creating the universe. Everything in our universe including us is too complex to be made from just random chemicles. God is above these things because well he's the creator. He is eteternal. Its really simple think of energy you can not create it nor restore it it just is.
lexis1234 1 year ago
@warlord90210 According to this common theological argument, nothing so complex as the universe with all of its accompanying natural laws could possibly have occurred simply due to random chance; ergo, it must have all been designed and created by some being which believers label “god.”
lexis1234 1 year ago
@lexis1234 So, let me get this straight... Things LESS complex than God simply cannot exist, yet, this so called "God" can just exist? Where is the logic in this. Your ENTIRE argument is based on the fact that something complex as the molecules and atoms and gasses etc that were used to create a big bang are impossible to be because of their complexity... yet something EXTREMELY MORE complex than them, which is supposedly "God" can exist.
Do you see the faults in this argument?
warlord90210 1 year ago
@warlord90210 What or who created the molecues atoms gasses? They had to come from some where. Nonthing can not create something. God can just exist because he was the one who created everything. In order to create time, space, matter, gases or anything you have to exist outside of it. You can't already be inside of the universe when creating it...It's impossible. It's like me trying to build a car by sitting in it! You see how illlogical that is?
lexis1234 1 year ago
@warlord90210 Also the question who created God is illogical just like to whom is the Bachlor married to? The question you should be asking is if the universe needs a cause to be made then why don't God need a cause too? After all everything that has a beginning is subject to cause and effect.
lexis1234 1 year ago
@warlord90210 Since God, by definition, is the creator of the whole universe, he is the creator of time. Therefore He is not limited by the time dimension He created or , so has no beginning in time God is the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity (Isaiah 57:15). Therefore He doesn't have a cause

@Gerstein1 It seems alittle desperate for the atheist community to base a good part of their argument on the rather small ignorance of a few people. Also I do believe in god however I will not get into an argument about his ignorance it always ends the same with me being insulted.
DanMarik 1 year ago
@DanMarik I will try to avoid insulting, if you agree to avoid as well. Don't take anything I say about the religion personally. You do realize you are insulting many people when you say the ignorance of a few people. Just because it is a minority doesn't mean it's wrong. Anti-witch hunters were a minority. Anti-Hitlers in Germany were scarce. Anti-slavery was a minority, as well as pro-woman rights. Just because they are a minority, doesn't mean they're ignorant. Justify your belief if you can.
Gerstein1 1 year ago
@Gerstein1 I do not not insult that is a childish gesture. Let me clean up my words. I was saying that Mr. Banana Man here is the ignorant one. I do believe in God AND evolution. Most believers now-a-days take the word of the bible to be literal words instead of the analogy they were meant to be. I regret to inform you that I will not be debating my beliefs. For the simple fact I am already doing this process with 2 other people over youtube.

You can't just say "Just leave us alone!!" and then band together to help make proposition 8 a reality, for example.
