I want to buy this phone bocz this cheap and has 3.5 mm headphone jack.....however, after watching most videos on Spiro review. I notice there are a lot of complains on this phone's software. So, is there even a person that has this phone but has no problems with it?
this is one of the worst phones i have ever had, yes its cheap but i would save that money for something better. it turns itself off whenever it wants, the battery life is poor, it runs out of memory very easily so you cant ring or text people the only way to solve this is to reset the phone. its extremely slow to start and load pretty much anything, it wont let you read messages sometimes. it has 2 themes as well but i cant even set one of them because it runs out of memory. terrible phone
- WORST THING - the TrackID shortcut cannot be changed (DOWN should be contacts, not som unuseful app)
- you cannot acces data from your card. You can only listen to music, not add themes and not even ringtones
- it's slow - the startup and the menu
And other things tracked by others. Search on google "Sony Ericsson Spiro problems" and view community topics. I bought one and I will gave it to my girlfriend - she doesn't care if you can't set a ringtone
should i replace the Motorola Razor V3 for this but i only have £50 and its £30?
i have a friend with this phone who says its an "alright" phone but a bit basic but then i have also heard that its brilliant and crap so im not sure.
Btw the pictures he showed from the camera were actually very good in my opinion :P
This phone has a lot of problems, you cannot call and text because of the "out of memory" error and you have to restart it in order to enable texting or calling. It crashes, it hangs, I don't recommend this phone. It slows down even after a week. low internal memory and you cannot transfer your messages to the memory card. no to spiro...

My 3 year old w910i just broke, it worked really well, only in the last few months that it started to get annoying... the red light would go on at the back, it said inactive sim then restarts itself, sometimes about five times in a row before it stays on, then in the last few weeks it started to say send failed when i tried to send a text, for no apparent reason, then the other day, it just turned off and never came back on.
Viewing angles of the display are perfect, why would you want other people staring at your screen while texting, on a bus, in a car or in town, sounds good to me to not let people have that ability
to those people out there who wants to get a new cheap phone,i recommended you get samsung champ for the same price as this,this phone lags like shit,the only thing i get this phone for it's because it fits my beat earphone lolxD thumbs up will be highly appreciated:)

With my Samsung Champ, my messages wont get deleted. I can save only 300 messages at a time. It reboots randomly. And you cannot do other stuff when the music player is running, it will lag to death!
With this price range, I recommend a normal alphanumeric keypad phone, and no fancy crap like Champ!

I purchased the phone today. It is beautiful and perfect to hold. HOWEVER, the idiots did not include a usb cable. So i have ordered one from ebay and waiting for its MOST IMPORTANT function, its mp3 player! Thats what i bought this phone for and i already have sennheiser earphones.

Got mine the other day and omg what a pice of shit this phone is! You can forget changing themes, the phone sometimes does not recognize the memory card. Phone randomly shutsdown when it feels like it. DO NOT GET THIS CRAP!
the battery life of this phone is crap... 1 day charge once... compared to my few other SE's phone before, that can last till 3 days if fully charged.

I don't own it but I have used it several times as my best mate owns it. It's music playback quality I'd say is miles better than phones that aren't music biased (obviously). The camera isn't too great but will do for everyday usage and Facebook etc. The keys are good for dialing and texting. The internet is slow as I think it is only GPRS but may have EDGE, I'm not sure. Instant messenger is a good feature that works just fine. I'd give this phone a 7/10.

I have shifted from the Samsung M1 Vodafone 360 to this model. You can call it technical downgrading but I call it a re-socialization process since those app compatible phone are eating up a big chunk of your time and could trouble the people around you. I'm sure that many relationships have failed just because the iPhone maniacs care more about their gadgets rather than for their beloveds. A very basic phone for the basic purposes is all I need by the end!

I hate this phone so much
reasons:the battery dies in less than 24 hours (have to charge it twice if listening to music)
the gif pictures lag
the phone itself lags (no it's not because of my 2 GB memory stick I took it out and the phone still lagged)
the phone restarts when entering play now to download a theme ringtone or anything else
there's problems finding and actually working theme for this phone
only thing I like about this phone is that I can plug in my PC speakers or any headphones

Got mine the other day and omg what a pice of shit this phone is! You can forget changing themes, the phone sometimes does not recognize the memory card. Phone randomly shutsdown when it feels like it. DO NOT GET THIS CRAP!

I don't own it but I have used it several times as my best mate owns it. It's music playback quality I'd say is miles better than phones that aren't music biased (obviously). The camera isn't too great but will do for everyday usage and Facebook etc. The keys are good for dialing and texting. The internet is slow as I think it is only GPRS but may have EDGE, I'm not sure. Instant messenger is a good feature that works just fine. I'd give this phone a 7/10.

becasue it freezes a lot
good thing is music, track id, and the apps of twitt and facebook, well if u love walkmans buy it but i warned it freezes a lot and it kinda suck

I have shifted from the Samsung M1 Vodafone 360 to this model. You can call it technical downgrading but I call it a re-socialization process since those app compatible phone are eating up a big chunk of your time and could trouble the people around you. I'm sure that many relationships have failed just because the iPhone maniacs care more about their gadgets rather than for their beloveds. A very basic phone for the basic purposes is all I need by the end!

Why not buy a W595 or W910 instead of this one? I mean, they should cost the same by now, but you get a better Walkman and Media player IMO. Also the camera is much better on the W595 and W910.
