Same with 3rd strike. But honestly man, third strike is pretty terrible game. I've played alot of fighting games but realistically and technically speaking, third strike just makes no sense at all, plus the fact that it's inredibly unbalanced.
i agree with you that 3rd strike is very unbalanced and frankly i uses remy so tell me about it,but the thing i find sf4 is that everything is too too rigid you see, for example when i watch a match lets say ryu against sagat, the high chance is that it will be a match where both players will just spam fireballs at each other and who ever has the frist untra at the end he can make a big comback etc.And its 10 years after then their last sf release woudnt you think they should hav done better??
You've obviously never seen a great match then, man, because honestly that fireball fights so rarely happens and if it does its only for like 4-5 reps then they both get impatient, but people don't just throw out ultras.
Here, PLEASE do a youtube search for "SBO QUALIFIERS ED MA" and watch the first video. That's a perfect example of some REALLY fucking epic fights where both teams make Street Fighter 4 look fucking amazing.
And those "big comebacks" happen in plenty of games man.
For example in 3S when Gouki does his raging demon. Cmon man, that's a game changer in itself.
Or in CVS2(my personal fave fighting game) when somebody manages to land a Level 3 super on you, sometimes it can take out basically your entire life bar.
I'm just saying, give SF4 more of a chance. It's a fucking great game especially considering all the publicity that it's given the Fighting game scene to begin with. New players means more sponsers, which means more money, which means more GAMES
Hell, there's even Yuns Genei Jin and Mokotos super that lets her juggle you all crazy right out of a command grab! Those have just as much of a match ending effect as the Ultras.

I know this is to get people into the game for the American release, but that was the worst Karas I've ever seen.
Needs more infinite combos and unending pressure. lol
