  • LOL @ erybody arguing bout whats correct and proper language when the song is about acceptin how people talk & the words they use due of cultural differences

  • That fall was pretty good. I'd be afraid for my nose lol. They are so great!!

  • I've always loved this song.

  • Only Fred and Ginger can dance in roller skates and it be this epic. Not only do they dance in skates, but they sing the best version of this song that is around

  • The best version of this song, ever is by Fred Astaire and was recorded for Brunswick records at the same time as the picture. The backing is much more lively and you don't have Ginger's off key singing. Its available on a Columbia CD release called Starring Mister Astaire and other places. All the commercial recordings that Fred did of these songs are wonderful and all are on the Starring Mister Astaire CD set.

  • They made it look so easy.....

  • great stuff...fred was so creative, inventive...who would do a number on roller skates? courageous if you ask me!

  • she is such a scene stealer, let alone heart stealer.

  • @carygrantswedding i agree welll said, by the way im 13 (that tells you somethin, im not your average teenage girl lol)

  • @carygrantswedding Agreed 100%. Even those MGM musicals in the 50s were way overproduced for my taste. Never liked them (ok, kill me). And don't get me started on the new ones-- I almost threw up when I saw the new "Footloose" trailer.

These Fred-Ginger comedies at RKO are just the way I like it. Screwball with tunes from legendary composers!

  • Oh my gosh! Now, that's talent!

  • Männer, die man auf einen Sockel hebt sind meist steinalt, haha. Ginger, better doublecheck...! (cooler 40ies Look)

  • Fred's face when Ginger says oysters is probably my favourite thing about this clip.

  • Let's just remember that Fred hasn't been on skates since he was a kid..!

  • I wish it were socially acceptable to break into song in the middle of an argument.

  • It would be so much fun to sing this before every couple break up..

It will make break ups much more FUN!!!... LOLLLL... wonderful song!

  • i love this song

  • THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!! SOME ONE DELTED THIS VIDEO AND IT MADE ME SO MAD BECAUSE I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!! NOW IT'S BACK AND I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!!! XD

  • this man is a good chunk of the reason why i love to dance more than anything

  • They were amazing! Thank you for uploading the whole song and dance! Viva la Fred and Ginger!

  • How the word " Tamil " (Language) is used .... by tat guy...?

  • It's incredible that they could dance that well on roller skates. It would suck to fall while doing that dancing routine. I love that ending though. "Yes, it was my idea." "Have you anymore of them?" "No." Hahaha what a great pair they are!

  • @JAfan3993 Yeah, I love the ending, too! Fred also ice-skated in The Belle of New York :)

  • @JAfan3993 You should see Gene Kelly do it. That scene always gives me near heart-failure

  • @Merkwerkee I have seen that scene from "It's Always Fair Weather." Gene Kelly is amazing in that scene. I would say that Gene's choreography was more difficult than Fred and Ginger's, but then again Fred and Ginger did it first and with a partner. Did you know that it was actually Ginger's idea to dance on roller skates? Both are great dancing routines though, and I just love all of these wonderful dancers.

  • @JAfan3993 ,

    Amen to that

  • love this song, thanks!
