  • i love this video over all other tanker videos. the mack sounds is amazing

  • Thats one nice Tanker, My department owned a 1960's year International 3 speed 1250 gallon tanker...An Old Milk Truck

  • That is a beautiful Mack R Model...What year is it, and is it still in service?

  • driving a tanker to a fire, that's gotta slosh around a lot. probably not a very fast response.

  • nice tanker and its lights

  • awesome tanker!!!!

  • HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!

5***** added to playlist and favorited!!

  • beutiful ol classic thats awsome is that a manual trans

  • GOD I LOVE THAT OLD MACK!!!

  • nothing like a R model mack tanker straight stick!

  • Outstanding! An old Mack R tanker, I wish our tanker was half as bad ass as that rig right there. We've got a Freightshaker FL112 with an 1800 gallon tank. Not much water for a tanker if you ask me, but it gets the job done. Got a big 475HP Cat under the hood too.

  • I love it anytime I see a Mack still in service - be it a Mack R or a CF or what have you. I recall the days when almost every department had atleast one Mack. Many - including FDNY - had ALL Macks. I wish Mack still had a dedicated fire apparatus. I miss seeing the bulldog hood ornaments.

  • @WCAT101 the next town overr frommus has a mack R tanker thay has 2500 gallons just it is a wetside tanker not an eliptical ike the one in this vid. They also got a Mack CF rescue engine.

  • That thing sounds Awesome and i wish our DT466s had straights on them

  • That truck would probably accelerate that much faster if it had an automatic transmission. But I know Elmhurst is in the mountains of NE Pennsylvania so I'm sure that stick comes in very handy for their hills.

  • i love this truck sounds awesome

  • That is a beautiful classic !! I love those old R model Macks like that. That Maxidyne engine and Q2 siren top it off. One tough truck !!

  • Sounds like the old Maxidyne 672 engine.

  • I think it is, because our tanker sounds just like this one.

  • mmhmm she sounds friggin' sweet. good ol' "Mack!" awsome video!!
