Its funny because its a song about love, but its also a song about petty vengence. Theres a contrast between the two ideas, as one embraces the sensitivity and pain of love lost, while the other is clearly shallow and crass, as only revenge can be.

The music is soft and pretty, for the sake of irony.

These contrasts are a constant with Coulton.
