Very well done. I am not partial to sequels, but this was exceptionally wonderful. The remake of Cry Little Sister by Seasons After was even more amazing (vocal-wise) than the first film's version of the song.

Sorry to say I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first. It was trying to imitate it to much, and the other brother wasn't in it. But I only watched it once, I could be wrong. The Thirst was pretty great though.

ok finally saw this film last night. As suspected, its just over an hour and a half of my life ill never get back! To be fare though, there is some hugly funny bits. One of the opening scenes has a shot of sax player, all tanned, no shirt slicked back mullet wearing chains, on the side of of the street trying to play his sax but is struggling to even get it to make a noise, oh and he's fat as hell, this is obviously a dig joke at the sax guy form the first film. Because even though he only does the odd film every now and then he is still a considered an A Class actor in hollywood today. Every few years he does do a big budget film that alwasy gets wicked reviews, And im not talking speed 2, that was merely the start of it. no no not at all mate. The point is the film is a low budget, badly lit, (badly scripted from the preview atleast) and simple cash in attempt on the first. . The reason why top actors dont go backwards is all about trust. If the final edit is bad, bad lighting, bad photography bad script and bad dircection it it would kill a career. What succefull cinema movies has the director done?Which other CURRENT co-stars are performing along side in the film. This all maters.

I had always dreams of a 2nd film as have most on here obviouly but the reality is the first was so greound breaking it would be a tall order for anyone to come close to it. too dark ????? Ever heard a franchise called "Saw" ??? Films do not go to stright to DVD for being too Dark. they go streight to DVD becuase no one is interested in losing money distributing (selling) it to cinema's when a film is absolute crap. Its that simple.
It cost loads for s cinema to buy the right to show a given movie, inturn it costs the distribution house loads to buy the film off the studio to distribute in the first place. Noones gonna buy something that will lose them money.

All they knew was that the economy was crashing and they needed something to save themselves, so they went to possibly the best vampire movie ever made and created a sequel. I was shocked when I heard Corey Haim died, he was a good actor. I love the first lost boys better then the second one. The first is an 80s classic, no other lost boys movie could ever top the very first one.

infact the best part about this film is infact the preview. Count your losses here and dont spoil this film by actually watching the film itself. Stick with the preview its much better than the 90 minute version!

out the film. The story is absolutly dreadfull, soundtrack is about the only thing that is worth checkingout. Feldmans over-acting is worse than in the first film, where it was ok becuase he was a kid playing a kid, here hes a grown man, it doesnt work and is simply stupid. The script has blantantly ripped off about 10 very rememberable lines form the first , where here they simply fall flat..." we've heard that before somewhere??".This film went to dvd first is becasue its total shit!

ok finally saw this film last night. As suspected, its just over an hour and a half of my life ill never get back! To be fare though, there is some hugly funny bits. One of the opening scenes has a shot of sax player, all tanned, no shirt slicked back mullet wearing chains, on the side of of the street trying to play his sax but is struggling to even get it to make a noise, oh and he's fat as hell, this is obviously a dig joke at the sax guy form the first film. Theres a few gems like this thru

Because even though he only does the odd film every now and then he is still a considered an A Class actor in hollywood today. Every few years he does do a big budget film that alwasy gets wicked reviews, And im not talking speed 2, that was merely the start of it. Id doubt his handlers would have even put the script in front of him for sonsideration. This really would be a career killer for him. Id seriously doubt they could efford him now anyway.Fieldman/Haim,what have they done in 20 years???

The film does have potential. I think it would have been better if Haim had a bigger part and Kiefer Sunderland was n it. But Fieldman, the guy made this film too humour, with his acting and voice ! it was a JOKE.

no no not at all mate. The point is the film is a low budget, badly lit, (badly scripted from the preview atleast) and simple cash in attempt on the first. . The reason why top actors dont go backwards is all about trust. If the final edit is bad, bad lighting, bad photography bad script and bad dircection it it would kill a career. What succefull cinema movies has the director done?Which other CURRENT co-stars are performing along side in the film. This all maters.

I had always dreams of a 2nd film as have most on here obviouly but the reality is the first was so greound breaking it would be a tall order for anyone to come close to it. Many have treid with vampire flicks and 99% have failed. its just testement on how good the first really was even against films today 20years later.

i have to say i havent seen it and want to but it doesnt sound to terrific lol and i think the reason it went onto dvd straight away is because either it was to crap to be put onto the big screen/the ythought it would cause to big and uproar or they felt it was to dark to be shown in cinemas.

too dark ????? Ever heard a franchise called "Saw" ??? Films do not go to stright to DVD for being too Dark. they go streight to DVD becuase no one is interested in losing money distributing (selling) it to cinema's when a film is absolute crap. Its that simple.
It cost loads for s cinema to buy the right to show a given movie, inturn it costs the distribution house loads to buy the film off the studio to distribute in the first place. Noones gonna buy something that will lose them money.

All they knew was that the economy was crashing and they needed something to save themselves, so they went to possibly the best vampire movie ever made and created a sequel. They knew that people would go watch it if it had a name people knew from a previous movie. They did the same with Pirates of the Caribbean.

wow, I really liked the original, I'm glad others took up this style though like Hyenas movie (trailer is on here) looks familiar in style to the Lost Boys movie, and also includes hot chicks dancing in the trailer ;) I think that's like a must now a days hehe
