My ex-husband taught my dog (dog died of old age) to flip a piece of cheese off her nose and catch it. He would also put a piece of cheese in her upper lip and she wouldn't eat it until he said okay. I'd like to teach my new dog these things as well.

Hi Zak, well, I joined You Tube because of your videos which I think are great! Very good for the beginner, you demystify the process-& focus on the relationship being a KEY element in dog training. THIS video had me laughing out loud! Incredible editing to make it fit the music! BRAVO! 1 suggestion, PLEASE tell people that it doesn't HAVE to be a purebred-and, that a Border Collie CAN BE a BAD choice for a 1st time owner! Like driving a Porsche the 1st time you drive! I miss my homeboys dog "Roach" he was a border collie also and man he had energy. My friend didn't have the patience to play or train with him until I taught him how to catch a Frisbee. Then my homeboy got locked-up and his mom and I went to give the dog away to some new owners. I cried so hard.  I would have loved to take him but I already had a dog and was on my way to the army so I couldn't have my mom take him cause he needed a lot of work.
