Great question, drtrdr5. Looking back on the story, I remember this artist vividly. That is why we choose our comical attempt at a heartfelt interview with him. I saw his work up close and can tell you that the video did not do it justice. Yes, the piece was carved from one piece of wood and it was a masterpiece. You might try a search of the artist's name.
