If right-wing extremists get in power, I am concerned that they will undo too much of our government's efforts to help build a prosperous middle class, and a more stable economic system for everybody, and the country will just fall further backward and behind the rest of the world. I'm not saying for sure it will, I'm just worried. The simplicity of a small limited government sounds wonderful in concept, but given how much the world has changed, I question whether it could really work
Tim Burns struck me as close-minded and stubborn in his debate with Critz. If he gets elected, I think it will be hard to get anything done in Washington. He will refuse to cooperate and work with moderate Republicans and Democrats.
@spiralmetal Bipartisanship is dead! Gridlock works! Their is no room for moderate republicans any more, you know the one's who are democrats. Republicans need to be Conservative or they are going to be voted out! Vote Burns! Oppose Obama!
They're not being Democrats. They're just trying to work and compromise with them. No interest in this country is gonna completely have his own way, let's face it. Having a congress that bickers all the time is not in this country's interest.
Vote Critz! Oppose candidates with rigid, narrow ideologies! Oppose BURNS!
@spiralmetal There are two major parties in congress and the senate. The aisle that splits them needs to be clear and defined. They have both slid left for a long time. That has changed! One is making a conscious effort to get back to principle over politics. The other is run by socialists!
Republicans have not slid left. When u have other political parties in power, u have to work together. That is the reality. U cannot do our country's business like they don't exist, like there aren't a million other interests in this country. You can't ignore them. And for me, "principle" is not inflexibly following one's ideology irregardless of what each particular case calls for. 'Principle' is doing what you feel is right. I'll be fighting for those so-called "socialists".
@spiralmetal You can kid yourself all you like but your low rent attitude is not cutting it any more! Bipartisanship is dead and good riddance! Both partys better get their game on. Because if they say one thing then sell the public out but voting another they are going to get a pink slip! There is nothing so called about todays socialists. Time to stand and be counted, November is coming!

Good, I hope all patriotic americans in the 12th will vote for Tim Burns on May 18th. I personally like Russell in the Primary.
It would be so gratifying to see Murtha's seat go to someone who will bring real change to DC.
