@donnywal she is simply demonstrating the basic leg movements. Obviously at many points during your climb, your arms will bend. However, the focus is to keep them as relaxed as possible and push up the wall with your legs rather than pulling with your arms.

You don't know what you're talking about... Hardly any weight would be on her arms with her hips into the wall with the footholds she's using. Also, even if leaning that far out with your hips put less weight on your biceps, it would be far harder on your forarms.
