Anderson Silva is part of his team "Nogueira Team" he has a huge martial arts gym in the US and he is very rich now, so STFU all of you who says he is done. Rafael Feijao from Strikeforce is also his apprendice, Lyoto Machida often trains in his gym, he ruled the Pride in his time, he even beat Fedor. He and Wanderlei Silva were the top 2 fighters in Pride.

Their fight was called a no contest due to cut over the right eye of Fedor. At that point Fedor was all over him just like in their 1st and 3rd fights... That cut was caused by an accidental headbutt. In fact, if you take out that headbutt, Nogueira has never even done proper damage to Fedor in their 3 fights...

And yes, Nogueira IS done! He is just too old and has nothing to offer against the top HW of today.

@wally316 Well the fact is that HW division was full of shit at that time... for the last 2-3 years there has started to be some true HW fighters with good skillsets other than just the couple of pros with good training camps against average roid monsters that simply did not know how to fight. they were most relying on their power and size... Not surprised that nog,fedor and wandi were on top since they were amongs the few that had proper training camps and teams...

@sfprivateer There were plenty of can, but not as bad as it was in the US, Ken ShamRock and alot more fighters knew pride and rings or even king of the cage, Pan, had alot better comp at the time then UFC. In the US was not aware of subs or if they were, well then seening it, then feeling it for the first time is a diffrent matter. Legends like Randy he got tapped out in rings, no my friend ufc had the lowest tier back then in cans. Most of the ufc Champs left ufc with little succese.

At the present day I'd say it's the most skilled HW roster out there, if they'd only get Overeem and Fedor over there, it would fill it up. But Fedor will prolly never sign with UFC. But in Nog's and Fedor's prime time, there was only a handful of skilled HWs in the world.
