quite a few of nick's songs have that magical quality about them. i can't put my finger on it - they have that special something that you can't find anywhere else.
dig lazarus dig is the album every aging rocker wishes they could write. who else at 50 has put out an album that ranks up with the work they put out in their 30s?
Well - this is not comercially available. I videoed this from the TV onto a DVD - then used Nero Software to convert it to AVI format to post it on here. Then I used a package called replay converter to make an ipod compatible video (it can also convert to mp3 if you don't want the video).
But you can download this yourself with youtubedownloader (which is free). That too can create mp3s and ipod videos!
I did that with a Nick Cave gig a few months back. It's a pain in the ass to do, but worth it when people enjoy it. So thanks for the post of all these great songs.
nobody thinx it's a sad portrait of life? fuck the music, fuck the artistic work itself... listen to the Nick Cave philosophy/knowledge: love wins over life - every time
This version is a million times better than on the album: the pace; instrumentation; the heartbreaking vocal... How many more Cave albums is Nick Launey going to ruin?
Nah man, It's not over, it's a new sounds. If you don't dig it then that sucks. but hopefully your (to be) tickets and cds will go to somebody who likes this kind of stuff.
amazing, i must say that i always find their live perfomances better than the studio ones. i didnt like the new record, but after watching them live doing their newest songs i defenetly have to listen it again.
Cause people often talk about being scared of change
But for me I'm more afraid of things staying the same
Cause the game is never won by standing in any one place for too long !!!!!!!!!!!

One of the few musical geniuses left in these mediocre times.
This is what talent and absolute dedication to a craft looks like.
Thank you Nick Cave and the Seeds for making my world a better place.

Nick sometimes,at least lyrically reminds me of Bob Dylan, biblical references and all that,I suppose.
Great song and damn good new album too, good on you Nick.

One of the two good songs on the record. Abattoir Blues had about five good songs; Dig has got two. It's nearly over for us.
