if it means anything, I am an atheist. I don't believe in a god cuz i don't see how someone will aloow other people to suffer and others prosper. I believe in love i can't explain it. I always try to rationalize it as a deep infatuation. BUt i don't. And i have yet to see anyone define it properly to me.Define, not describe. Majority of us put our faith in science or metaphsics(w/e u call it). We like scientific and logical reasoning. Love is really the only thing that makes no sense to me.

thats not true. its a misuse of the word. Athiests, dont denounce god, they simply state that the Idea of a god is very abstract, so to make the claim that one "exists" the one making the claim must have a large amount of evidence to even entertain the idea for further study. Belief is for analyzing potential lies, faith is for the future. Faith and Belief have no place in concepts about our world.

A deist is one that believes that God exists and created the physical universe, but does not interfere with it(absentee landlord). further, since god those not interfere, he has nothing to do with your personal life therefore such rituals like prayers and giving thanks would be reguarded as meaningless by deist. therefore they are not religious.
