Ranya Renee always amazes me at how grounded and beautiful and organic she is with her dance delivery. So beautiful and comfortable in her skin. I'm such a Ranya fan especially after I got 2 of her videos. She is a brillant teacher and performer. Ahhhh I miss New York's teaching talent.

This is GORGEOUS, simply gorgeous. A real baladi, like it is supposed to be. With the real taste and soul of baladi, where big, expensive, ballet-ish movements do not belong there. if you love this dance - Ranya has a 2 dvd set out Baladi, with 20 min of best quality recorded performance, and then she teaches you many of her moves, followed by improvised movement you can either follow along with her, or do what you feel, or both.

I just bought two of her teaching DVD's from Amazon and they are incredible. I have over 30 belly dance DVD's and these are quickly becoming my favorites. Not only is she a wonderful teacher, but she is someone you would like to have as a friend. It is a joy to listen to her friendly voice teaching. I am so happy I finally discovered her.
