Hmm... I am the one who is usually initiates sex in my marriage! I think what the author, Laura Doyle, didn't vocalize but probably says in her book, is that it a healthy relationship shouldn't be a woman always aquiescing to her husband.

In a healthy relationship 1.) a man will not disrepect his wife by forcing or pressuring her to do something she doesn't want to 2.) a wife will not shun her husband as 'punishment' or to control him... Sex is enjoyable! It shouldn't be viewed as a chore!
