You are right..."It's hilarious" but people are not trying to be experts all of a sudden, they are just wondering (like me) how this can be anything more than a 1 shot pony or maybe a good occasional guest.

Most of the feedback that i have got over the last couple of months lead me to conclude that the show may benefit from the inclusion of a new regular puppet & they want it to be one or other of the major phone in characters.

This is not because anyone thinks the show is on the wain but purley because people want the show to progress to yet another level.

Mario's characterization of Roy Keane is many fans favorite choice(Including me) because the prospects for weekly mayhem are vast.

I think Mick would be a good choice since he is new to PL next season and is no doubt going to be involved in many comedy incidents. He also looks pretty ridiculous too, which is a good thing for puppets!

i like how everyone all of a sudden are experts on what the show should or should not do. Personally i think the obama character is funny (like almost everything else about this show) If I become bored ill probably be annoyed yes but how can someone say this is boring after the first appearance, its hilarious.

This is just crap. They should have just made a puppet of any of the regular contributors, yes, even Dave or Becks, instead of... this. A magical talking football would have had more relevance to the show and it's loyal viewers than this shameless jumping onto the Obama bandwagon. Nothing against Obama, but seriously? This puppet is bound to be a bigger Shevchenko (read:FLOP!) than Shevchenko.

What? I'm not into this whole Barack characature. They should have spent their time creating someone with relation to soccer. I understand they might be going for the random comedy, but it's not working... Tom Cruise is random, but Barack is not quite the same. We'll see I guess what they can do with him next year.

i wouldn't worry about it mate - Barack will appear about as often as Fabio has - they should have spent the cash on making a Roy Keane latex - instead they spent it on this (probably) one shot pony !.
