Hi, nice bike, you say you made the exhaust yourself, are the meggas home made too ? if not where did you sorce them ?.. I"m soon to build a rep myself !.. sounds the business mate...sod the neighbours, what do they know !!
Ah man, the tone!! I don't know if you take request but if you do, please make a vid of the bike on the road or track. I would love to hear the sound of that bike wide open!
The bike still isn't finished but when it is there certainly will be a new video! It isn't finished because I'm still missing a good front-wheel with break drum. By the way, this was the first time the engine was running.
Hi I am looking at building a replica of a honda racer myself possibly the cr750. Just wondering which company you bought the fairings off? and did you have to cut the frame?
Fairings are bought second hand, it's from a old CB500 racer. I also rebuilt a Honda CB750 K2 in a classic racer. If you could send me your emailadress I'll send you some pictures of the CB750 and some internetsites I know, (in England). I didn't cut the frame of the 550 but I did cut the backend of the subframe because it was nessesary for the seat. I've made the tank, the seat and the exhaustpipes myself.
Wow, there really is nothing like the sound of those old fours. Thank you for this video. Question, what did they call the works 350 Four that was raced during this era?
epic EPIC brilliant mate

In the year 1966 Mike Hailwood was riding a Honda RC173 Four cilinder 350CC.
