  • i would put mc on Ferrari and also massa they are like brothers

  • 1:02 , how did he shift up? his hand weren't on the gear pedals?

  • @ovectopo the gear paddle is like a lever, so you can pull it to shift up normally, but you can also push the other one if you want to. so instead of pulling the left one for shift down, you can push it to shift up.

  • @lucarioguy111 PAME RE GAMOTO GIA TON HATZIFORMULA MU MESA HATZIFORMULAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if i were montemozolo i will replace massa with schumacher. bring him back to ferrariii!!!

  • @lucarioguy111

Schumacher the best driver , with the best records

  • @lucarioguy111 Schumacher isnt one of the best he IS the best

  • I lose sleep thinking about Becketts.

  • Bring back the 2006 cars without TC...

  • I had the shits one day at work, this is what it looked like while I driving home.

  • heart the gear change fucking hell :33 the downshift and the upshift sound amazing :D

  • Some Say.....

  • Go on shumi.xxx

  • the all mighty Schumacher , dam he can drive!

  • Me and Martin love Spa, but Silverstone is the best circut ever! Thanks for the laps Ferrari! =-)

  • @lucarioguy111 not one of the best drivers. The Best driver in the World as long as the formula and racing games exists.(with the record of 7 championships-if i remember good-in a raw)

  • @spiroslouis1 the most successfull driver in formula one...but not necesarily the best. i hate to bang the drum everyone else does, but ayrton senna was a phenominal racer. and i think kamui koboyashi will be a star to watch.

  • UNREAL!! that is truely amazing...the speed he carries into the corners in mind boggeling

  • Each driver can set up his car the way he likes it. Some do a better job at it than others, that's why one is fighting the car more often. But ANNOYING sounds of that TC. :(

  • Michael constantly adjusts brake bias watch his (right hand) while Felipe does'nt

which is probably why he appears to be fighting the car.

  • funny, Massa has way more corrections to do in the same car. He also breaks in turn 2 where Schumacher doesnt.. weird.

  • Nice upload , find 1000's of F1 races to download @ tf1s.com

  • A pleasure to watch. Looking at how fast he reacts when any under or over steer occurs is amazing. Second nature.

  • nice

  • Wow, I want to see a race live.. Look at my “Danner video” in my channel and learn how you can win a trip to F1 season final in Abu Dhabi.

  • for me Spa is better..

  • So much better than Nascar XD

  • In his controller that lighting one does that mean to change the gear?

  • Those high revving engines have become a part of Formula 1 but I personally hope that they get rid of them and give a second chance to "low" revving turbos.

  • @kaupunkimoukari I agree. The turbo engines were cheaper to build and made more power, in an aggressive fashion, which required more skill from the driver. Formula one cars, especially during 1995-2008, were nothing more than really big go-carts. Bring back H-pattern gearboxes, clutch pedals and turbos. Get rid of traction control, active suspension and other electronics.

  • HIJO DE SU MAUSER QUE HERMOSO SE OYE ESA MAQUINA SUBELE EL VOLUMEN Y AL AUTO TAMBIEN Y DISFRUTEN.

  • That traction control is annoying lol

  • Do any of you know which city hosts the most the F1 event with the most expensive tickets?

  • @smokenfly514

    Monaco.

A weekend with a hotel (Not necessarily a good one) and travel (A shuttle bus to and from the hotel) costs over $4000 per person. You can get into the Canadian GP and stay at a four star hotel with a good rental car for half that.

  • die traktionskontrolle hört man ja am laufenden band^^

  • I've been comparing alot of onboard vids and I notice the Ferrari drivers tend to adjust the brake balance more often than the others. This is more evident with Kimi because he seemed not do it during his time at McLaren and he does it on the F2007. Anyone knows why?

  • @StFubar I am sure it is down to weight (fuel) and how the car uses the tires over a race distance.

  • Decent graphics.

  • @kingjoshinho ???

  • i love the sound of F1 cars.

  • let's hope that Hermann Tilke never gets his hands on Becketts.

  • massa is so much more agressive than shumi

  • from the felipes pictures you can clearly see that he downshifts with his left hand (upshifts with right one)

But Im not sure what about Michael. Most drivers uses this down-left, up-right pads. When you look at 1:04 you can clearly see, that his right hand is off the wheel and car upshifts at this moment. So maybe he uses mirrored shifting pad system.

Does anybody know how is it?

  • @DeViLvs you see on the straight before abbey, he shifts up but his right hand isn on the wheel

  • @DeViLvs well spotted lol

  • @DeViLvs I know that this year at least the Mercedes has a single bar for shifting, and that at the last race he upshifted tith his left hand by pushing it rather than pulling. I wouldn't be surprised if he was used to that sort of configuration in the Ferrari and they did it for him (or maybe the Brawn had it last year too lol).

  • @muulka Interesting. Thanks :)

  • @DeViLvs Lol that was quick for a reply to a 4 month old question =P

Glad to be of help :D

  • a smaller front wing looks better, and the wider back wing looks better too

  • Watch Alonso onboard. Alonso never downshift in First corner.

  • F1 LEGEND BUT LOOK AT HIM NOW ; (

  • @41senna65 WTF is that supposed to mean? hes just had a 3 YEAR break from F1 racing and you expect him to be as good as he was then? give him time...

  • whats wrong of having or keeping raikkonen

  • Spa wasn't just cancelled because of the new chicane being installed, they were also forced to rebuild the main grandstand, improve the pits and paddock and make other changes to the track (giving more run-off area after La Source and a tarmac run-off at Pouhon for example) in order to keep up with modern standards.

  • Yes, you're right. I prefer older version of the last chicane :(

  • In 2006 Spa wasn't located in FIA's F1 calendar. They had known that Spa last chicane would have been rebuild.

  • What do You mean?

  • Theye were building new "Bus Stop" chciane.

  • pelo som do motor o massa consegue atinger maior rotacao, porem ainda nao tinha a sensibilidade que o shumi tem, mas atualmente eh muito diferente, massa esta quase na perfeicao

  • The last race of Renault and dirty Briatore who used the illegal mass dumper if there was no cheating it would be clear that would be Ferraris and Schumis championship

  • man making turns over 200mph is crazy!!!

  • welcom to F 1

  • isit jus me or does massa's and schumi's engines sound diffferent???

  • @slinkyboi321 Yeah, they are, different set ups and fuel mixtures.

  • Ah! Major oversteer for Schumi!

  • eurh TC its horrible

  • Now thats driving =D

  • O MASSA ANDA MAIS......

  • looks like fun =]

  • Just look at how Schumi drive. its so smooth and perfekt like no others!

  • @SneakersDK It really is.

  • @SneakersDK Schumacher ain't a smooth driver. He is known for being very good on the limit. He makes so many corrections in less than a second just to keep the car as quick as possible through a corner. Jenson Button is smooth. But that's what probably makes him slower than Schumi.

  • @h4m2421 Smooth = fast. Simple physics

  • @CseRoQ This comes down to understeer vs. oversteer. If you prefer understeer (ie. button) you'll always be inside the limit, but not pushing it. You go fastest by flirting with the limits of your grip, but it is more risky and sometimes you will exceed the limit and have to make corrections. Yes, the fastest way to drive (ie. "the limit") is the moment just before you lose grip, but the only way of knowing where it is is by pushing the car hard.

  • @SneakersDK

Good driver, the best car on grid, smooth driving.

  • Everyone. Schumi is the best driver of all time. Some say Senna, Some say Fangio, Ascari, blah blah. No one owned F1 like him.

  • @Galloro916 Schumi is what ? AAAAHHH HAHAHA!!! Nico Rosberg Wins! FATALITY!

  • @Galloro916 Fangio did. He won the championship 5 times with 4 diffente teams in the 8 years he was in F1.

  • yiipi schumi is back on stage

  • They make it look so easy!

I have trouble getting a road car around this track in a video game!

  • massa lifts off for the one becketts corner where schumi doesn't

  • these guys must get so bored on the way to the grocery store

  • " Why am i not doing 200 mph !!!! "

    xD

  • @rjsny350 hahaha

  • huh they both drive like sshh on those laps. must have been captured from practise

  • Oh ya, you must be a REAL pro to be able to notice.

  • Such a shame the sound of traction control spoils it all. I'm glad they banned TC.

  • massa paquete

  • M.S has better control than massa also hes smoother around the corners and massa is like struggling a bit

  • the first section of bends shumacher never brake or release the t pedal and in the last corner, had a perfect line it's really amazing

  • schumi was the best

  • I went to see this race it was a very hot day and to my dissapointment it was borin i love F1 but you dont on what is going on at the other side of the track there was huge tv screens but they were to far away to see. you are better watching it in the comfort of your own home. There was a really annoying guy who would shout '' Cheating bastard'' every time shoey would go past if you are reading this annoying guy you are GAY!!!!!!

  • genius, genius...

  • ICH LIEBE DEN FERRARI VON 2006

ich finde den sound einfach super

  • I think Massa shifted down 2 much as compared to Schumi so there for hes probably slower.

  • agree

  • That's because Schumacher trailbrakes when he turns into corners.

  • And who doesn't?

  • Senna didn't, Massa doesn't.

  • Your an idiot if you think Senna didn't trail brake.

  • the cars in 2006 are slower than the cars of 2005

  • now.. the cars are slower then 2004... but faste than 2005^^

  • tehy are both amazing drivers and deserve to win championships, unlike lewis hamilton who deserves to have his neck snapped

  • You should focuse on MS right hand and FM right hand.

Look how many times MS changes the brake Bias compared to FM.

When they let go of the steering wheel and reach under neth it they adjust the brake balance.

    BTW schumifanatic it's NOT BREAK.

    It's BRAKE.

It's amazing how even the Americans dont know the difference bettwen Break and Brake.

Even juornalists dont know the difference.

  • Even more amazing how unjust you people are - making assumptions about America after seeing a couple morons we unfortunately shelter.

  • you seem to know allot about brake bias

i noticed shoey would adjust the bias allot too

i think on corners with harder braking he puts the bias to the rear more .

and yea americans are ignorent its no big surprise the world hates them for what they have done

  • LOL at the irony in your last sentence...

  • it was supposed to be ironic hence the e instead of the A

  • were not all ignorant... some of us are mainly embarrassed by our gov't... What really scares is me is that most of my countrymen act like electing a black man somehow makes up for everything else.

  • your country is afraid of black people, and are really scared of them. were equal, black people shouldnt be made superior

  • arrrr i hate britain im from australia

  • My two favorite drivers ;)

  • schumacher you are the best pilot in the world

  • WAS

  • heavy

  • This seems like a fast course. Perhaps over 215MPH on that one long straight?

  • Yeah definately with no doubt about it:)

  • This year (2008) Ferrari and McLaren will be reigning on Silverstone. It's circuit where the top speed is the most important.

  • awesome

  • jesus its Silverstone obviously

  • rofl!!

  • What track is this?

  • Silverstone, UK.

  • thats what u call precision

  • What is all that noise in the curves? Some kind of stability control? I'm the only one who noticed that???

  • not SC for sure. i think it's a noise coming from mikes due to lateral Gs. notice how it's more pronouce on high speed bends.

  • thats the traction control that the cars had that year. you wont hear that this year. tc is banned.

  • that's what i thought first, but at Abbey, you can hear that same noise under braking and during turn-in but not during the exit. that doesn't make sense if it's TC.

  • its just michaels magicness flowing through the car mixing with the spirit of ferrari.

  • the TC works on the rear wheels and they used it to prevent the rear diff from locking...so even tho hes braking, its still the TC

  • how does the TC do that w/o some type of ABS underbraking? i thought those TCs worked sort of like an engine rev limiter. i'm way over my head here.

  • i dontk now the specifics about it. but i do know that it was a big topic in the off season.. the loss of what was effectively ABS on the rear wheels as a result of the loss of TC

  • TC stops the rear wheels from making too many rotations during acceleration. i.e. stops them spinning up and stabilizes the car under heavy throttle.

ABS stops the front wheels from locking under heavy braking.

Break Bias is the adjustment of braking power given to the front and rear wheels at any given time.

  • great lap from michael

  • Shumacher is much better at this lap.

  • schumacher has a very different throttle style to massa. schuey is straight off the throttle to breaks and has an aggressive progressive acceleration style. Massa blips the brakes and throttle to bring control through the corners. similar to senna in some ways!

  • ok ty

  • also schumacher is 2 foot. He uses left foot to break to keep on the gas.

  • a 2 footed driver have a better chance on coming out of coner then one foot drivers. there foot is already set to pres on the gas once coming out of the corner. plus the schu has a good corner line...with both of those driving style no wonder his number one in F1. ;-)

  • did u notice during the first few s bends schumacher was full on the throttle but massa kept lifting maybe he got lots of his time from that planting full throttle through them bends wen lots play it safe

  • Even if they had the same helmet, by this video you can definitely tell which one was Michael. He was perfect, always on the limit, and the classic racing line. Massa was a mess. Maybe he was experimenting with different setups. Obviously he did it better this year. Pit lane start to finish...was it 6th?

  • Is that silverstone?

  • yes it is

  • I just noticed that the master isn't using all the revs... must be preserving fuel.... or the cars are just set up that way?..?!!???

  • What do you mean? If he wasn't using all the revs, or using 'early shifting' as it's called (used in rain, for an example), then that would be to preserve the engine. This vid has no indication of what session it's from. Massa sounds just the same, anyway, so it's probably not conserving.

  • yeah i kinda realized that

  • i am sure that schumi wasnt using all revs(he was using around 18000)cause i can clearly remember the sounds of all rpm's rv345 is right

  • Since there's no indication of what session this is, it's hard to judge. If this was qualifying, I'd say the gear setup for the course did so that so and so. But it may be practice, and they don't want to unnessecarily strain the engine. Or it could be from the race, and they could be going with a heavy car. Or maybe they were testing to find the right gear ratio. Who knows.

  • i guess it si from a practice session since i dont see any cars in front of both

  • won't be race... the banks aren't full :)

From the weather it looks like it was qualifying or FP3. IIRC when I was their both sessions wern't perfect sunny weather on the friday when I was their

  • Um well it had to been 2006 cause that was the only year both Schumacher and Massa were on the same team.

  • Ignore previous post I though you said season not session.

  • i think the V8 engine was very new so it hadn't been developed fully

  • schumacher you are the best

    Ferrari

  • @ Easykart79

Completely agree! There is no point in trying to say what the drivers are doing wrong. The might just be in the middle of making setups or whatever. Massa is a very good driver, and he knows more than any of us here about how to drive an F1 car

  • Grazie Felipe, grazie Kimi per aver dato alla Ferrari il titolo piloti.

    Massa very good driver

  • Im sure Massa knows shit loads more than you do, about driving an F1 car!

  • Schumi is just plain super smooth..massa hacking away a bit too much in my opinion. not really sure why he would turn in 10 feet from the edge of the track, made him blow the whole corner..a hacker can go fast in 1 lap but wont be a champion...imo

  • massa'a using schumachers setups that season thank god he had schumy as teamate or he wouldnt have those wins that season

  • I agree with the person who said that massa looked faster threw abbey but if u noticed felipe's didn't take as wide line threw stowe as michael which resulted in several lifts off the trottle and a few corrections.

  • awesome to look at his fingers when changing gears. This man knows how to drive.

  • this thing its not easy to control...

  • i noticeed that schumacher does many more break tweaks tha massa
