You are hypocrites. You knew McCain/Palin were poor leaders yet you were prepared to subject this country to another four years of negative leadership. You should be ashamed of yourselves. It's the same negativity that is now causing the GOP to implode.
I am certainly happy God had enough sense not to answer your prayers. You should try building your house first -- rid the church of molesters of little boys, and stop pointing fingers at others!
You Catholics should try reading your own bibles instead of listening to the hypocrites in the pulpit. Yes everybody supported Hillary when she was front runner. Isn't she pro-choice?
stop listening to the crap you are being fed. The Vatican City in Rome is located in Italy where abortion has been legal since 1978! Didnt your parish priest tell you? And the authorities there are not challenged on the issue. So whay is the issue being challenged here?
I wouldn't call you stupid, but I notice you are illiterate and ignorant. You can't even make a simple sentence. The Vatican is indeed a sovereign state but my point is that it has no effect on the country in which it sits. It doesn't even have the power to influece those who are in its environs. Soon it will have no effect on the world. A brave new generation is growing up, a generation of youth who will be thinking for themselves and not accepting the old dried-up religious views you hold.
Obama can fight all he wants to get this Catholic's vote but he's not getting this Catholic's vote! This Catholic is not voting for "that one" but instead is voting for "this one" who is McCain!
Good thing God had better sense than you, and did not allow the pair of jokers you voted for, to get elected. When Hillary was Democratic frontrunner the RC didnt mind, even though she is pro-choice, but as soon as the nominee was Obama, suddenly abortion was the biggie. What sick and twisted minds! Did you know that in Italy where the RC is headquartered in the Vatican City, ABORTION HAS BEEN LEGAL SINCE 1987? And is the Church challenging the government there? NO!
It is true that Catholics must vote their conscience but that phrase could be deceiving. We have to be sure to tell people that Catholics must vote their WELL INFORMED conscience according to Catholic teaching. There's a big difference. Some Catholics do not have a well informed conscience, like BrendanM267. His "conscience" is telling him to vote for Obama who is evil incarnate.

deschassan, Conservative Catholics like you, who think you are opposing "the culture of death", just because you oppose abortion. Google "HitlersFaith" (oneword) and read my web site which shows how Hitler's and his Catholic Church's opposition to abortion (& homosexuality) didn't prevent them from working together to promote the culture of mass-murder of 6 million Jews and 4 million others (many of whom were fellow Catholics) !
u must be stupid no one said they control anyone body or mind. the individual that make their mind to end their babies life is the sin of that person. u can not have it both way. the sin is yours not anyone else.
I'm Catholic and I don't! I would support Alan Keyes if he was running in Alaska on a ticket that had a chance. I'm giving my vote to McCain and Palin since they seem to be the most ProLife that we have.
How can you compare the two?! I was against the war in the beginning but now that we're there, we cannot just pull out right now. We have to defend!
As far as the Pro-Life issue? It is not hypocritical to be pro-life and not want to pull out of war at this time. People dying because of war is not the same as the evil killing of innocent lives. How dare you compare the two!
Real Catholics don't support politicians that support the culture of death. Real Catholics refer to "catholics" who like to pick and choose what to believe as "cafeteria Catholics". I think some that call themselves Catholic believe they are Catholic because they were born into a family who were Catholic.
NEITHER of these are remotely Catholic OR even Christian in moral and ethical stances. They stand for nothing the Catholic church stands for... they are for abortion, euthanasia, birth control and much more. yuck!
they don't have to be a catholic to see that the cost of living is overwhelming, no one said they control anyone else body or mind the decision of abortion is the individual that make their mind to end their babies life is the sin of that person. neither are for abortion. they both said the the decision is the individual. u can not have it both way.
YOU GO TO A CHURCH FOR 20 YEARS TO LEARN AND PRACTICE YOUR FAITH
SEARCH: Black Supremacy in the USA...the Final
Google OBAMA's Church.
The doctrine of Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC) is NOT the true gospel of the Lord Jesus, but a FALSE GOSPEL. Black Liberation Theology , IT IS A RACE CULT !
The truth is any practicing Catholic who has a PROPERLY formed conscience cannot vote for either of the these candidates. They are both pro-abort, pro-homosexual, pro embryonic stem cell research.
Now for the rest of the story - ALL 3 candidates are members of the CFR and are busy selling their souls and American sovereignty to the elites and central banks. If you people think ANY of these people have your best interest in mind - I have some beach front condos in Miami I'd like to sell you.
Obama is the most "Anti-Catholic Presidential Candidate." Obama has a 100 percent pro-abortion rating from NARAL, supports partial-birth abortion, supports spending tax dollars for abortion, voted against notifying parents of minors seeking out-of-state abortions, and supports homosexual marriage.
Obama voted against a law that would have protected a child once it was born and outside the womb -the Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act.
I'm a Catholic and I wouldn't vote for Hilary in a million years. Get this; not all Catholics are anti-abortion and most would accept that women need to have some rights to their body. I would think that any sane person with a strong faith could never vote Republican or for Clinton after their war in Iraq caused hundreds of thousands of deaths purely to satisfy their greed. Obama is the only real choice for any committed Catholic.
"Some control over their body"? You don't seem informed about Obama and Clinton's position abortion. Both candidates support abortion rights, but Obama has a 100% pro abortion rights voting record, agressively supporting even so-called "partial birth abortion" Clinton has said she supports abortion as a safe, legal, but rare option for women. Her administration would work with Catholic groups and others on the rare part, finding appealing alternatives for women.
True, but my point is that the abortion issue is often over-exaggerated by the media. There are more pressing concerns for Catholics, especially preserving the lives of those already on this planet of ours.
Hillary Clinton is not a forgotten issue. She is planning to walk away from the convention as an independant candidate. McCain can forget getting support from her people. There will be blue, red and pink states. She only needs 12 states to get 277 electoral votes and the white house. She will beat both McCain and Brokeback in the November election. My only regret is Bill will make an ugly first lady. Bill will be the designee to the U.N. and then Sec of the U.N., president of the world.
Obviously, it's the truth otherwise it wouldn't be so widely reported, but i don't understand how Obama, a former community organiser and civil rights attorney whose very message is hope for the 'underdogs' of society is doing so badly amongst the working class where Hillary, who's made a fortune hawking real estate and working for walmart is seen as the steel worker's president.
Obama's "community organizing work" consisted of garnering church group and community support for low income building rehab projects. Over $100M tax dollars funded the developments and today most of the buildings are boarded up due to inferior construction work. The developers made their profit, but what did the community really gain?
P.s. One of the developers Obama helped through this organizing was Tony Rezko. He's bundled $160K+ in donations to Obama, so I guess Obama's work was rewarded.
and this is the reason why some people dont vote...need i say more
