Looks like a great concept. I probably won't buy for my Escort 8500 x50 until the app also does directions. I primarily use my iPhone for directions while driving, and this app appears to not support this. SUGGESTION TO ESCORT - Add driving directions into your app.
Sort of planning on getting it to use with my 9500ix... Only downside it I usually use my phone's bluetooth to connect to my Truck & play music via Pandora. My iPhone is jailbroken so maybe there is some sort of app that allows multiple bluetooth connections but I honestly doubt it because that doesn't sound very plausible. Cool overall.
What about for those of us that dont use the cigarette lighter but have a direct wire install? And I am not able to find this app in the app store... Any help?
Nuts. I'm sure there are some that think this additional driver distraction is a great idea. A split second of driver inattention can kill you, your passengers & those unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
more gimmicks rather than something that works what good is this when threats change the same day cops piock and choose different spots all the time. I will stick with the v1 everytime you turn around escort is making you spend more and more money playing their so called technology games. instead of offering upgrades and making changes that really matter
