I disagree. The solo that gvfromhell plays has nice techniques, but it's boring. Saxonriff got it right, this guy rocks out! Remember, the song is called "Live to Rock", and that's exactly how this sounds.

Actually I can hear this solo being played for this song. It's a different style but it definitely works well and it's a perfect fit. I love it, I think it kicks and rocks out!

Sorry dude. I'm not at asll downing you. I just am the biggwst Saxon fan and I'll send you that video. But if you ever listen to Saxon, thats not the type of solos they play. It was as good as any in the compitition, or for any hot band. But it didn't fit the Saxon sound. IMHO.

But it sounded great. You really have talent and I'm probably wrong but watch, you will win the riffking comp haha. Sorry to not express my ignorant self lol.

Saxon is my favorite too. Thanks for the compliment, but you never know who they'll pick. I remember for the George Lynch contest, in an interview he said a lot of entries sounded just like him, and he picked somebody with a different sound. Always a pleasure to meet another big Saxon fan, thank you and thanks again for your compliment.
