  • For all of us gymnasts out here, how do we do it, now that I look back to my 10 years i have know idea how i did it, But I had a hell of a lot of fun doin it and I would trade it for anything in the world

  • Well, its the sport they chose. Cut the melodrama off.

  • shoud i try gymnastics... ive never done it before?

  • @ACTRESS4E it depends how old you are. How old are you? My little sister is 14 and she just started,

  • @Bruppert93 i am 12

  • gymnastics isnt just a sport its my life... its so hard but i love the challenges it brings,... had my fair share of injuries had to start all over again but i wouldnt give it up for the world

  • this is why I love gymnastics so much, and I know the intense amount of time and effort that they put into what they do from watching my friends, and the consequences of it. It's really a shame that some can't appreciate its beauty in every aspect. The consequences of gymnastics are what make it all the more incredible when men and women can accomplish something like this.

  • ice becomes your food to cheat your mouth, your huge strong legs become an enemy in your mind, the breasts ...just a parody of women chest....it is wonderful to be gymnast because it is the feeling that you can do whatever .....and the other things you sacrifice

  • LOVE THIS SONG!

  • What about TUMBLING? And iceskaitng and NOBODY tell me, "wahhhh but tumblings part of gymnasticccs!!!!!!!1"

  • coaches are like parents, for some people like my best friend, there better. 1:00 is proof

  • I trained in gymnastics until I destroyed my knee so yeah really really hard

  • Even my gym teacher said that the sport you get the most injuries in is gymnastics. Second is hockey.

  • Thanks

  • Can somebody say, what`s the name of these song?

  • No, it's shows when you compete, but if you practicing you usually will since you usually have biker shorts

  • Do u wear underwear under leotards?

  • I am a level 5 and I have ripped my hands on uneven parallel bars more times than I can count. People think it is such an easy sport but if you did hard core gymnastics it is harder than anything.

  • Cat and mice by red jumpsuit apparatus

  • Boys like girls cat and mouse

  • what song is this?

  • i think gymnastics and cheerleading are two of the most grueling and challenging sports

  • red jumpsuit apparatus - cat and mouse is the name of the song

  • i'm a gymnast and anybody who sayd gymnastics isn't a sport is very wrong. The amount of injuries and pain you go through doesn't realy compare to any other sport. Its hard being a gymnast, and everytime i put myself on the trampoline, i put myself in danger.

  • 2:02 isnt that guy there so the type of thing doesnt happen O_O

  • To become a gymnast, you should start at age ~ 3! Keep working to improve your skills days and nights, spraining ankles and sometimes knees and shoulders to perfect every move. At age ~ 20-22 you realize that your body is not cooperative and flexible anymore and you need to retire. In hindsight you may realize that it wasn't worth it, because only a handful of gymnasts can get to Olympics and very few win a medal. (i'm 37 and used to be a gymanst as you can tell).

  • i love watching gymnastics. i've never done it but i have great respect for all of you.

  • I did figure skating when I was young... 10 kms run no matter what the weather was. Up at 6, training, school, training. Percentage of being disappointed with myself? Sometimes 99%. Pain from a blade going through my toe? Unbearable... Coming out to a rink with my 6 year old daughter and suddenly being surrounded by a crowd of little girls: "Please teach me this, that..." is truly priceless... But I always thought that gymnasts and ballet dancers were the hardest workers of us all... Deep bow!

  • I did gymnastics when I was younger. I moved onto harder things but it was definitely one of THE hardest.

  • Yep, my ankels live in the ice bucket to.. It's really hard, but so many people doesn't see that. All i here at school is football, but the never mention gymnastics or if they do the think it's easy or something like that, so annoying and stupid -_-'. Gymnastics is really one of the hardest sports...

  • im a gymnast and i have to admit it is really hard

  • @loobyloo1834 it is the toughest sport that you will ever love

  • @loobyloo1834 I know same what level are you

  • @loobyloo1834 so damn hard sometimes...

  • @loobyloo1834 Me too. I meet people who ask me what sports i play, i saw i do gymnastics. And what they say is "Gymnastics isnt a sport its easy" and gymnastics isnt a sport.. its much more than that

  • Insane sport. Anyone who does it is incredible.

  • i am a level 9 gymnast and it is as hard as this video shows it my ankels live in the ice bucket

  • i forgot a sarcastic little smiley face(:

  • but that's not to say it's better than anything else. or harder. or anything like that. no...i can't do any of the things you mentioned. i don't even play a sport. but i live in a football town, where our whole economy relies on it. and i know poeple who have died. i've visited kids from my school in the hospital. i've seen funerals for players. your body couldn't handle being knocked around by someone probably three times your weight. and they don't just train in season...that's year round too.

  • that's my point exactly. if you like sports, then you appreciate them for what they are. no one is saying that what you do isn't difficult. christ knows it is. but other sports aren't to be looked at as less than because of the difficulty level. at least in gymnastics you have some form of control over what happens to your body. not to be rude, but anything that happens to your body is your fault. in football, you can't help it if a 350 pound guys knocks you down. people die. on the field.

  • An i have also done many years of track, so i know what it feels kie to run marathons and meets in 105 degree weather. Football is only a seasonal sport, gymnastics is year round, non stop. and at least 20 hours a week, AT LEAST to be good. Can football players do triple releases on bars? Back tuck full on a 4-inch beam 4 feet off the ground without looking? can you do a double layout triple twist on a carpet? or how about this, a fronthandspring double front-full on the vault? didnt think so :)

  • Gymnastics is the most physically demanding sport. on little thing gone wrong can risk or even take your life. Ive done gymnastics for 12 years, and its been a long hard road to get where im at. There is no other sport harder than gymnastics, by far.

  • this is funny. so...football is definately a sport, and a difficult one at that. you can't just be a dumb, cute guy and decide you'll play. that's why everyone's not on varsity. sometimes, the things you like do won't be appreciated, and i'm sorry. i have plenty of friends who've gotten concussions playing football...your sport is no better than any other because of the risk level. i'd love to see some of you run miles in 95 degree weather in full pads...that's not easy either.

  • whATS THE NAME OF THE SONG <3

  • I used to masturbate to this kinda stuff :P

  • I love this video!

  • i horse back ride and i have been hurt badly so many times its un-real and i was in gymnastics and trampoline for a long time to and its so hard being put down for being in a SPORT that people is not a sport... and they play soccer or football and say omg this is so hard i cant score ya well we say omg im going to die doing this SPORT!!!! thank u for sticking up for sports that people say are not sports...!!! <3

  • It's more than just Injuries,It's More than Beauty,

    It's Empotional......Just remeber....Perfection is just a word...

  • @pvrpl313 mm another sport that isnt looked upon as a sport by rugby/footballers is rowing that shits hard man working pretty much your whole body! i got a few of them to try it out and they pretty much died after they had tried to do one of my sessions :L

  • @heatman95 I completely think rowing is a real time sport. You have to get to point "A" to point "B" before your opponent. And to whoever sent me the message about how soccer isn't considered a sport i think it's wrong because the one with the most points win. Gymnastics and figure skating are very hard athletically, but it is based off of qualitative things on how well you performed the moves. I was a gymnast and it is hard i can tell you that

  • mordeth13 brought me here

  • @scooterboyelite hell yea

  • Never mind, its called cat and mouse to anyone else who was curious

  • Song name please?

  • If it were easy it would be called football

  • @sportsfan8991 you mean soccer...yes

  • @sportsfan8991 I can't really make a negative comment about gymnastics because I have never done it but I can definitely back up my sport. If you think for a second that football is easy then it's obvious you're talking out of your ass. What kind of name is sportsfan and your dissing on one of the greatest American sports? Hypocrite.

  • @sportsfan8991 football isn't easy ;)

  • these women are so beautiful, and so graceful. but the choppy slow-mo kinda ruins it

  • At 1:12 you can barely make out the person!!

  • where did you get the video clip of the girl in 1:05

  • Why do they do this to these girls even if they want to if they fall they take it the wrong way, they hate themselves so my question is why gumnastics isnt cool all it is is flips and flexibility... Kinda worthless and stupid if its gonna do that to all these girls

  • what i have noticed and think is the gymnasts are so small so they can be easily carried off from somewhere if they cant walk the coaches dont want to carry someone heavy

  • If gymnastics was easier it would be called football

  • @lemonhead0001 Im a girl who plays football...check out my video ( Lindsay22ytr )

  • what song is this?

  • @mkaypittsburghchamps

Cat and mouse-The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

  • GAY AF

  • im a gymnast and my left knee always messes up on me and when i came out or a layout on beam my knee locked and i fell and i got disqualified for not going underarm and i was devistated but this is my sport and im gonna make it through

  • @1LiveLaughCheer I totally agree, I've been a cheerleader 14 years and have also done some gymnastics. Gymnastics is hard but they don't have to deal with all we do, we have to work as a team or it doesn't work they compete as individuals! Most my team is made up of gymnast and they say cheer is much more difficult ad demanding than gymnastics and I agree!!

  • @SuraHPeeDeeFlex

Cheer is pretty much gymnastics and the other way around as well... plus, when you're doing an aerial on the high bar, it's waaayy more than 4 feet.... but cheer is tough too :)

  • @1LiveLaughCheer true that! But sometimes gymnasts cry in this video not just cause they fell from four feet [ haha :) ] but also cos some in the video would be cryin cause they're at the Olympics an wouldnt with with mistakes like that:) :)

  • This made me ball like a baby, why!? My first year of softball and my coach yells at me because I got out and I was the 3rd out, still winning that game but everyone started yelling at me. and I didn't have a coach to help me.. :((

  • I will admit that gymnastics is a difficult sport but cheerleading is harder. Gymnasts fall from like 4 or so feet off the ground... And their crying... cheerleaders get threw 20 or so feet up in the air and sometimes we fall flat on our faces.... But were not allowed to cry.

I'm not saying gymnastics is easy or anything I know it's not

    Good video though :)

  • @1LiveLaughCheer

any gymnast can do cheer and any cheerleader can do gymnastics, it's pretty much the same :P

  • you say you are a mens gymnast, yet in your video, all the clips are of women, surely men go through the same thing? or is it not 'macho' to show male gymnasts breaking down?

  • You say you are level 8,how many levels are in gymnastics? to be able to go to the olimpics?...and btw,u are right, training soooo hard for 4 years and one mistake ruins all the effort,is not fair....plz be careful,i didnt know the ammount of injuries and deaths!,i just watched now, omgggggggggg, take care and thanks for your video.....keep rocking!...sandra♥

  • Sorry but from what I've seen of the training these young girls get in gymnastics I find it hard not to consider it to be a form of child abuse. They are pushed relentlessly to do difficult, painful and dangerous things on various apparatus. They are taught to want their opponents to fail in order for themselves to win, a rather twisted life lesson at best. And they are obviously given drugs to stunt their growth and delay development in order to remain small and light on their feet.

  • wats the name of tis song

  • I'm 15 and level 7 and I train 16 hours a week and I'm joining my school team too so who knows how many hours that'll be/:

  • I freakin' love this song.

  • I'm 15 and a level 8 gymnast and i know what it's like. I train nearly 12 hours a week. Everyone thinks you're amazing when they see what you do and everything, but inside the stress builds up and there's a point where you just can't take it anymore. Everything you worked hard for? That can be gone in one little mistake such as a wrong twist or too low of a jump. The fear is immense as well. Sometimes i think of quitting, but then you think about everything you've worked for, and it's a lot.

  • @xshelbbby I train 15 hours a week and I'm 12 :D

  • @gymtrixgirl1999 Wow! what level are you in? Honestly, 12 hours for level 8 isn't a lot, i'm from australia and gymnastics isn't really a big thing here so there's not really a lot of good facilities and time but i love it! And the work load gets hard too, especially at school!

  • I also like how all the comments are very open minded

  • This is a depressing video. The sport has its ups and downs, like any sport, and thank you for letting me read most of your life stories in the comments.

  • Live the dream, but handle the realitty...

  • i can't split my legs apart 180 degress, and i dont want to. i prefer to watch women in little clothing doing that.

  • Looking at this you have to ask the question 'why fucking bother'? What is the point of gymnastics? Another opportunity for 'trusted' paedohile coaches to fiddle with children and get away with it. So there.

  • I miss it so much its like a part of my sole died when I couldn't do it anymore. I broke my back ignored it still trained and now my spine is worse then most 60 year old's I am only 21, I cant be in an upright position for more then 20 min without having everything from mid back down going completely numb, even knowing that I would do it again in a heart beat if I was physically able. This song is a great fit for the vid great job :)

  • thumbs up if you cried

  • I've been doing gymnastics for 10 years, then I joined cheer leading and got dropped, had to get surgery on my arm, and broke my wrist. I never got hurt once in gymnastics. Gymnastics is definitely an intense sport

  • For those that are saying basketball & swiming are harding than gymnastics. I'm a competetive gymnast and have been in gymnastics for 12 years.Ive done basketball swiming soccer and tball. I will admit thoses sports are hard but gymnatics takes more all around stength, agility, poise, and most of all concentration. Gynastics is the basic building block for all sports, some one that did gymnastics could do any sport better than the other sport could do gymnastics. It is not an easy thing to do.

  • i did competitive gymnastics for like nine years and now i do cheer leading, my first year, i have gotten hurt in less than 6 weeks of cheer than i have in ALL of my gymnastics years

  • @dimondsanddagers yeaa i do both and so far i end up bleeding cuz of cheer gymnastics hasnt dun wrong to me yet

  • plz name song

  • @YaNaSeNa87 cat and mouse by the red jumpsuit

  • Why are these dudes always crying?

  • I always manage to have fun when I do flips, gymnast just make everything seem so dramatic.

  • I used to be a gymnast but i quit because i kept getting injured and i had no time so i am now doing cheer.

  • It does come at a price know that all too well I was an elite gymnast, injuries come with the territory you learn to ignore them and because I did a spine injury ended my career. Fracturing one of my thoracic vertebrae it healed improperly and has caused 3 others to be misshapen creating a significant curvature now I need 4 rods and 3 cages, nearly all my discs are bulging or dessicated as a result of the sport but I would do it all again in a heartbeat. great vid

  • @MiSsLoVe961 Thnx :)

  • What did she do at 1:39 or 1:38?

  • @mmkp444 staring? dumb piece of shit i bet you think she was touching her pussy or smth hahaha funny to know you will never have such a beauty. fucking ugly perverted dipshit

  • @PG1337ify FUCK YOU! ALL I WANTED TO MY WAS Y SHE WAS CRYING U SOON OF A HOE!

  • @alextboz4ever Thanks :)

  • i absolutely adore this! so true!

  • why was the girl at 1:33 crying? i thought that move she did was incredible :/

  • @XBieberFeverX815 cause being a gymnast is hard she's probably just tired of it i kinda am but its my life so i wanna quit but then i don't :\

  • i am fighter and gymnast and both of them are very difficult sports :P

  • Gymnastics is such a sacrifice,I know what I mean,'cause I knearly made to the Olympics, but I broke my hip on the Beam, can't never do gymsnastics ever again.

  • @EmilyandLaura1 uhmm no I'm not the one who said that gymnasticsmylife19981 did about me and yes I feel the same way

  • @gymnasticslover64 I don't think it's very fair to say a person doesn't love gymnastics if they are only on level 2, not very fair at all.

  • what's that song called?

  • @cutiegirl102030 it's called "Cat & Mouse" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

  • I appreciate the concept of this video, but the video, production values and the quality are really, really, REALLY awful!

It's nearly unwatchable with the poor quality compression.

Please consider re-making this video, and use clips with super-slow-mo instead of those SLOW frame-by-frame choppy slowdowns. There are plenty of clips already slowed down from hi-speed cameras.

  • love this song!!{: soo much and it goes great with the video(:

  • Who is the song bye. What is it called? ..!

  • Comment removed

  • @MultiMusicalLove RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS-CAT AND MOUSE

  • @WILDTHINGleopard Thanks!

  • I've done comp. Swimming and gymnastics, but in my perspective Gymnastics is SO much harder cuz u never know what might happen out there it's like every time you do it you put your life at risk. No offense to anyone, but gymnastics is my life and I personally respect gym more. :)

  • Comment removed

  • @fashiongymnast101

i love gymnastics i've been treaining it for 9 years now.. :)

and i agree with you, gymnastics is very hard sport.! i'm not saying that other sports are easy, there not. but look how many muscles those girls have.. and you people scare me out because of these videos. my mom almoast stopped my treaning because of this. you can get hurt dooing any sports. but gymnastics is close to the top. :P

  • @gymnasticslover64 you dont really love the sport when ur only on level 2 if u were like 4 and above then yah but level 2 are just learn how to balance the beam and do handstands

  • @gymnast4life19981 the reaso i put the comment is because my coaches are letting me skip certian levels like 3 and 4 and im in level 6 as of now i skipped and little bit of level 5 two(: also in the level 2 we do roundoff's on the beam not just the handstands ( my sister in level two)

  • the ending made me cry i don't no why i guess because i say the girl crying ): i always seem to forget how hard this sport is i'm now a level 2

  • LOVE. THIS. SONG.

  • I love gymnastics. I started at 3 because my sister did it. I started competing at 7. I had to quit this year (I'm 13) because I have OCD (some fancy name) in my elbow. Well they said I could never do it again. But at one followup they said I healed perfectly and could go back. Just go little by little. I have been working for months now to get skills back. I have one followup next week and if it goes fine than I get to join a little Rec class hopefully competing again :) it is so hard to give

  • AT LEAST ITS A SPORT!!! LOL JK

  • @jsschnk every sport is tough you fuckin punk, you just gotta have the heart to push through, you limp dick faggot.

  • Any athlete that is working to reach a professional level is going to have to train HARD. High level sports are all difficult in their own way. Professional athletes have dedicated their lives to their sports and comparing them isn't really all that fair. I have a huge amount of respect for all hard working athletes but I will say that I think gymnastics doesn't get the publicity or respect that it deserves. But, that doesn't mean you can say other athletes don't work hard. We all do. Trust me.

  • @jsschnk ! ima swimmer and a gymnast. they are both extreamly hard! swimming its hard to not be dq.. gymnastices takes cordination.and much more for both . alot of sports r Hard .

  • Look most of them fail once then cry even if you fail you get back up and try not just sit there and cry yeah you can cry if it's like a national championship or somthing but not just in a competition

  • I'm both a swimmer AND a gymnast, working hard at both sports. I practice 3 hours a day at swimming and 3 at gymnastics. So I have both perspectives. Both sports are equally hard and equally amazing. They should not be compared! Swimming and gymnastics both require so much work and dedication, they're not for just anyone! People really need to stop going and saying one is harder than the other, trust me I am doing both I can tell you they're equally killer.

  • spoilt brats always cries.

  • It's hard at comps. because when you screw up, or hurt yourself, the camera zooms in on you. Humilliating you. It sucks, 'cause that's like open window for people to make fun of you.

  • I'm a level 5 gymnast I wouldn't know what to do without gymnastics

  • I'm a level 5 gymnast I wouldn't know what to do without gymnastics

  • @MorganKendall33 im a n elite power gymnast i work LEGIT 9 1/2 hours a day NOT including over time to perfect things i am getting my GED in homeschool i am as smart if not smarter than my sister and brother who ARE in normal school and older than me we work harder than half the other people that do normal sports just to fulfill one dream NOT to have a boyfriend and an outside life are the sacrifices we make for our dream u try and succeed at wat we do and i will respect u for that but seriously

  • what the name of this song/

  • @lmacheer2 RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS-CAT AND MOUSE

  • my soul cries black tears when I read all the mean comments about one sport or another.all athletes are hardworking and don't deserve the contempt of the hardhearted.my son is 13 years and from the age of 5 is training 24 hours/week(or more)now he's no 2 in Greece.I TRY very hard not to think about major injuries, but I'll never wish to be anyone in my shoes.so show little RESPECT for them!

  • @KendallRoseLyrics Swimming and Diving:

    They're just as hard.

  • i was in gymnastics it was fun

  • do you ♡ gymnastics?

well could you help me out by subscribing to my channel?

i upload gymnastics videos and upload videos from the World Gymnaestrada 2011

    :D?

  • @jsschnk I agree about gymnastics being a tough sport, but swimming isnt just swimming laps in a pool its harder than youd think. And yes people dont get hurt from it really but it IS a tough sport.

  • when you see the crying & the bear hugs & how tiny they are, you forget what incredibly tough athletes they are both mentally and physically. there's good and bad to this.

  • thumbs up if this brought you to tears!

  • Hey whats the name of this song I really need it please.. I want to dance to this song for my rountine

  • story of my life

  • who is at 1:59?

  • their fault, they arent in the kitchen

  • suicidal music much...

  • I remember my days as a gymnast... i remember all the pain and dedication i put into it. I played basketball, volleyball, and softball and i was a cheerleader. I put so much time into gymnastics so much practice. I lived at studio mon-fri 5-9 each and everyday till i choose not to do gymnastics anymore. I miss it but i look back and im glad that i stopped when i did.

  • @randomlaura94 that is really sad im sure you would have had a good career ahead of you :)

  • this makes me afraid to keep doing gymnastics...

  • @jsschnk I used to be a gymnast, and am now a competitive swimmer. With this being said, i think gymnastics is tougher physicaly, but swimming is tougher mentaly. There is a differance between swimming in a pool and competitive swimming.

  • MADE ME CRY

  • I'm a gymnast, and I know how much it HURTS.

  • I hate the feeling when you attempt something you know you can do, but you don't do it and you hurt yourself. It is a major hit on your self confidence and self esteem.

  • The song is Nice (:

The Name of the Song ? (:

  • wow this really sucks.....

  • I did gymnastics from the age of 3 years old, competative...I've lievd my life in a gym, no social life all trough my teen years...I quit last year and now have friends, am doing theater and volleyball..but gymnastics did me more right than wrong. Im physcially and mentally strong for what I've learned and built up...and nothing, the girls that were like family, my coaches hat were like 2nd parents, the gym being my second home...none of of it left me...God bless all gymnasts...

  • hey thiss is a pretty good video well anyway i wanted to know the name of this song

  • i'd never let my kid do gymnastics competitively. it's a soul eater

  • And they say Steroids and body building is bad for you.

  • this video makes me cry it`s so hard to believe:one bad turn its all over

  • I'm a competitive gymnast and watching this video brought tears to my eyes because so many people don't understand how painful and hard this sport is

  • @trailriders2131 Wow. It's hard to believe that this day in age there are STILL people out there who think gymnastics is a "girly" sport. How can you see all the twisting around and hard landings and NOT think, "At any point in this routine, this girl/guy could break her/his neck." You mount the apparatus and 45 seconds later, you're never gonna walk again. How many Sang Lans and Julissa Gomezes are out there that we don't know about simply because they weren't competing nationally, yet?

  • i actualy broke up with my bf bc he said gymnastics was stupied he dosnt know how hard it rly is
