you should make a water fall over the tracks. not on them but a train going under the water fall. And maybe over a lake or pond would be amazing. Great video.
from one scale modeler to another, the side by side shots of the 2 trains in the beginning really give you the feeling that you are a passenger on the trains, the scenery is great, and it helps that the room you are using is huge... again i'll say it... man that is pretty :) rock on dude.
rogueangel2k, Thanks for your words of praise. The middle section was designed to have parallel running even though the trains are running in opposite directions on the rest of the layout.
thx i have a model train set that a union pasific and its pretty cool avrege size but were di you get all the parts and paint and mostly the matearial
quadriderj3, The paints were obtained from a craft store, cheap water colours. The scenic material is Woodland Scenics and most other materials you can get from the hardware store.
amantonio, gakuueda and VerySlowBoat thanks for you comments, the layout has progressed behind the turntable with a basic scenic plaster shell and when complete I will post another video showing new tunnels, cuttings etc

Beautiful layout, excellent craftsmanship. And what is the black wire in the middle of the track? Is it something for DCC?

I'm quite impressed. I liked the on-board recording of tunnels and wide-radius curves. I want to run my trains like this someday.
