Definitely friends but those two can't be friends because they have the most chemistry between them and can't the writers see what we see...they are trying so hard to make Leyton the eternal unrequited love thing but they will continue to try way too hard cause Brucas chemistry is insanely obvious. I don't think he called Brook cause she would never do such a thing to Peyton and the writers want to save that friendship.
