These modifications all you bmw fans talk about are working the motors very heavily, unfortunatley that is the case with most motors when they are at their peak. For example, the 6.0L V12 Benz engine can have a maximum output of 730Kw which is about 1000hp. But it is extremly worked and probably would not be worth producing for a company. Brabus sell more than G-power, therefore have to cater for their customers

You need to refresh up YOUR info. The S65 engine was never produced with the 1998-2005 model. The fastest engine in the 1998-2005 was the S55 AMG. There was also a S600, but that wasn't an AMG. In 2006 MB introduced the S65 engine which only is/was produced in the newer models (2006+). So this CAN'T be a S65 AMG, which brings me back to my last argument: a BIG embarresment for BMW/ M5.
it was produced, check your infos. the s600 and s65 are the same engine (M275), but the s65 got the twin turbo (model 2004-2005 produced from AMG). and the new s65 has the SAME like the older model, the M275!!!!! the older s600 has also the same like the new one, the M275!..so it cant be a s65, it IS a s65 2004-2005 model, i dont know...i think its the 2004 model with 612 twin turbo horsepower

@DwnNvr S65s break into 11's. CTS-Vs run 12.2? So faster 1/4. CTS-V top speed with 6spd is 193mph. with a 5spd auto is 178mph. S65 top speed with a 5spd auto 212mph. i'd say it still wins. i could be wrong though.

@GoproNoob The Porsche Panamera Turbo has taken the title of fastest V8. Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed is the fastest sedan period. The limit is 200mph whereas the W220 S65 is limited to 155.

The s65 has more torque and horsepower.
But you must take weight and aerodynamics into consideration when doing high speed runs like these.
I think the windresistance multiplies by 4 when you double the speed of your vehicle.

i think that is a s55 amg not s65 has 700 some torque because im sure that bmw would of been taken down because the e66 takes down a stock m5 so this video is wrong and these people should learn better on how to set races, i think mercedes is the PRESIDENT her and bmw the house of Representatives,

Somehow i seem to be in the same boat as you on the subject since i drive an 06 e55 as a daily driver i give m5s a tough time until triple digit mphs where the m5s would pull slowly from me due to the hp advantage.
The s65 on the other hand makes a joke out of my car so this vid just doesnt add up. What am i missing here? There's even a vid of an e55 vs the s65 somewhere on this channelk and it is clear what the 65 does to the 55 series.

These modifications all you bmw fans talk about are working the motors very heavily, unfortunatley that is the case with most motors when they are at their peak. For example, the 6.0L V12 Benz engine can have a maximum output of 730Kw which is about 1000hp. But it is extremly worked and probably would not be worth producing for a company. Brabus sell more than G-power, therefore have to cater for their customers

Forgot to say, this isn't a S65 AMG because they where never made in the older versions. So this is a S55 AMG. Even a bigger embarresment for BMW M5. The REAL S65 AMG would obviously kick his ass in rear gear!

@snpgtsfckd you say it isnt a s65? :D they made it in older version, it was the first biggest engine in a high class luxury benz with 612 hp like the same engine in the new s65, you need some refreshed infos ;) dont forget: s-class has a rly high weight and m5 is not a high weight car...look at details, the breaks are bigger, sl65 rims, bodykit is 65 style, so its a 65

You need to refresh up YOUR info. The S65 engine was never produced with the 1998-2005 model. The fastest engine in the 1998-2005 was the S55 AMG. There was also a S600, but that wasn't an AMG. In 2006 MB introduced the S65 engine which only is/was produced in the newer models (2006+). So this CAN'T be a S65 AMG, which brings me back to my last argument: a BIG embarresment for BMW/ M5.

you are wrong. The fastest S-Class W220 was the S65 AMG, this is a fact. In 2006, the new model appeared (W221) with two AMG versions: 63 and 65.

it was produced, check your infos. the s600 and s65 are the same engine (M275), but the s65 got the twin turbo (model 2004-2005 produced from AMG). and the new s65 has the SAME like the older model, the M275!!!!! the older s600 has also the same like the new one, the M275!..so it cant be a s65, it IS a s65 2004-2005 model, i dont know...i think its the 2004 model with 612 twin turbo horsepower
and the s55 was never the fastest one^^
