My dear mother was born the same year as Ruth Graham, and my mother's name was also Ruth. She died in 1999. My parents went to every Billy Graham crusade when it was in Portland, and his books filled our home. My mother was so much like Ruth Graham, and believe they have now finally met in Heaven. This song is my favorite song..and it says it all. Praise you Lord Jesus. Please give my mother a hug for me.

These clips are all of basically the same conversation.  I think what he was trying to say was that if people that have never heard of the name of Jesus, but believe there is a God, will be saved. Not people that have willfully denied Him. What if you were born in the secluded jungle of Africa? God sees you and loves you and you can love him, even if you have no knowledge of his son's sacrifice.

That's not what he says. In other clips, he even says other religions are a path to God.

god blessed me with the holy sprit thanks to billy graham.i was 16 yrs old lived in florida and was on the wrong path, i recieved a letter from billy graham telling me that someone thought that i was worth saving, gave me a book and prayer a prayer for me . from that day on i was changed and have led a good life ,, thank you billy graham... my god look down on you.. good bless you sir...

This is so nice. I played the audio of Ortega's "Give Me Jesus" at the funeral of my father and then a little over 3 months later at my mom's funeral. They were dear believer who are now with our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. I miss them so!

Thank you for sharing this tribute of a most remarkable woman. I have known Billy Graham all my life from the T.V., his newspaper column and his books. Mrs. Ruth Graham was a beautiful woman. Humble, funny, wise and a God fearing wife ,mother, and friend. What a hole she has left for those that loved her. She will live on in her wonderful books and the many people she helped with the love of God, His Word and the man that would bring millions to God. Thank you for Fernando, he is the best.
