I found the production values of this game groundbreaking in '94, but watching them now, the acting is cheesy as hell and so are the green screen PVs.

I think, to the Kilrathi, killing is almost like sex.
At 3:45 - "Disintegration is not for you. Your fate .. will be different." - Thrakath alludes to sex.
4:08 - "Her lair mate is the heart of the tiger!" - He's thinking of her sexually, as a rival's mate.
And at 4:29 - he looks like he's having an orgasm when he lifts her up and penetrates her with his claws.

They should have put this mission on the last disc so as to mislead the player. Otherwise, you can kind of suspect something will go wrong and the war will not end yet.

Just a quick comment, mate. I managed to kill thrakkath and still make it back in time. it IS doable, and it changes the last mission slightly. If you wanna try it, missiles are your friend, as he won't break away from the charge till the LAST second. launch as SOON as you get a lock, don't wait for ITTS confirmation.

Just for the hell of it, I took out the Prince but was revealed to be a common kilrathi pilot and ofcourse I'm stuck in the middle of space, so accepting his challenge was out of the question.
