Man, I'm glad Hutch was around. What a voice. I miss that punch in vocals since he was on the scene. The pop singer status is looking up though (thank you, Bruno Mars, Olly Murs, etc.) ! Still, it's just a given that that voice will remain untouched.

I was there! I remember standing there at the end with this amazing sound washing over me - INXS in full flow, there's nothing like it! The energy in the air was fantastic, an amazing night, one I will never forget. @annekb1111, I totally agree. Other bands rely on pyrotechnics and gimmicks, INXS are all about the music... and the sexiest guy that ever walked the face of the earth!

This is probably the best clip that shows just how good Michael's voice was. Specifically at the 4:25 mark and to the end where he hits the high note. Try doing that yourself and see how hard it is to do with that power and volume like he had. It's pretty ridiculous.
