Hello Donna, I feel 150 years old. Seeing your videos. I decided to buy one. I liked the street, but perhaps the multi terrain, is most appropriate to begin with. What do you think? Is there a difference of balance between them?
How are the two on different terrain? I know one is multi-terrain, but you said the ride wasn't all that different. Was this based off of concrete or more than one type of surface? If there is no difference, then I'll go with the Quadline Skates rather than the Multi-Terrian.
Hi Donna You are lovely you know ! Take a look at freeline skates on you tube and tell me what you think . Also a great workout . I'v got a pair . They need a bit of skill , but once you've got it , they great .
how are these when it comes to spained ankles? since you use your own footwear, they dont really give you ankle support unless you wear high-cut shoes
@999lier666 Sorry I took so long to get back to you. Since the wheels are on the outside of your foot instead of underneath it, the skate gives you the support you need. Not necessary to wear high cut shoes. They really are a lot of fun!
Hi Donna, love the videos. You've made me want to get out and skate for the first time in decades. would you recommend those all terrain skates for a forty something woman who hasn't skated since skates had keys? Those wide wheels don't look so intimidating to me.
@outtcat If you are looking for a great workout - absolutely. Just take it slow and use the same principles for rollerblading to the Skorpions. Great for the legs too! Go for it! You only live once! I have at least one person stop me every time I wear my Skorpions so they are a great way to get to know your neighbors too! DW
@Urhoboman5 Yes there are. Type in All Terrain skates in Google and you will see different options out there. However, the Skorpions are the only all terrains I have tried. As far as really being all terrain, I used them on asphalt, dirt, and water and they were fine. However, I was not happy with the results on grass. But it is very flat here . They may not be so bad on grass if you are on a hill or have soft grass. The grass in FL is very hard and course. Hope this helps.....
I use them on grass here in the UK and they are great. They're great downhill and they work uphill, even on loose gravel, but uphill skating is always hard work.
I mostly use them with a 3m power kite which is endless fun. I'm getting up over 30mph and I haven't been out in high winds yet!
I'll post a video later this week
As for the comparison, Donna, I think it's assumed that off-road skates will be second to street skates on the street. (nb: Vice versa the street skates won't move.)
@DonnaMarieWebber I'm looking to buy a pair today, and I'm torn between the two models. Your note on Florida grass is helpful- have you tried the street model on grass? I'm in the suburbs, so it's mostly concrete and grass.

Hello again Donna
1. Have you tried any other all terrain skates? Are there other types?
2. Are they truly ALL TERRAIN? Grass, pebbles, asphalt, soil, water(puddles) etc.?
Thanx.

Have you thought about putting them on your hands and normal rollerblades on your feet? I'd LOVE to see that! x x x x
