  • strange memories on this nervous night in las vegas

  • It's been 7 hours since I took my two tabs. I've mostly come down now. Smoked a general amount of weed throughout my trip. Very positive and fun. Felt like waves of beauty washing over me. Will do it again soon.

    S ky with

    D iamonds

  • @pitakebabinkosto

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

common rumour that john said was coincidental, the idea came from when his son came home with a painting from school he had called 'lucy in the sky with diamonds'

  • @pitakebabinkosto

Nice try but it was a drawing that Julian Lennon made...

  • @pitakebabinkosto I see your point but that's not the reason why the song is named like that. The song was inspired by a drawing that one of Lennon's sons has done. The drawing had a girl named Lucy in the sky...with diamonds. But good point. The song has that kind of vibe anyways it's not that far from the truth. So it's a 50-50 thing.

  • There are many hidden messages to hear in Beatles music. To learn how to perceive them, search for "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read through the section about The Beatles. What it says will blow your mind.

  • God,I really love this song. This is the song for me cos he's surprised me on my wall , in the morning. It had me fall in love even more with him.

  • My cousin works in a lab and works with acid all the time. Burnt his trouser once.

  • @TheySuggestedOranges XD LMFAOO

  • weed

  • 95 personas No tienen ojos de CALEIDOSCOPIOS

  • @weeny069 Can't we all just get along?

use of derogatory and vile words is really unnecessary.

  • bcuz the world is round

  • Suddenly , Kasabian

  • Awesome film!

  • yes the beatles did experiment with drugs but this song was based on a drawing that john lennon's son made about a girl in his school

  • I only took it (acid) once. Looking back I'm aware that it changed me. There is a part of the brain atleast from what I saw- we don't use everyday. My trip was good, but I only did it once. When I woke up just felt like I'd seen a whole different reality, I'm sure it changed me- but for the better.

  • @DanielHazel2 LSD molecules react with serotonin A2 receptors in the frontal cortex. The frontal cortex is what's responsible for perception and processing sensory information. So basically there is another reality, at-least there is based on how you perceive it.

  • @RainbowManification Wow you must be Doctor. Thanx for your reply, it makes a lot of sense.

  • @DanielHazel2 Actually I just watched a documentary on LSD a couple days ago. The guy saying it was a doctor though :)

The reason LSD does that is because its molecular structure is similar to that of serotonin, so the brain thinks it's taking in serotonin when it's really taking in LSD.

  • @DanielHazel2 yea when I tried it it was a good trip too. Doesn't mean you should be doing LSD everyday...

  • @DanielHazel2

I think that psychedelic drugs can change you by making you realize how some parts of your brain/mind/personality works. I do not, however, believe it is a necessity to do drugs to get that revelation. "I did acid to escape from the world into my own, but I didn't need acid to do it" - something like that did John Lennon said. Well, I guess my point is that drugs aren't necessary to be aware of certain part of yourself. Even though you never said that. Fuck that im outta here

  • @BechTalent Oh please, list me some things that are more enlightening than psychedelics. You definitely don't need them, but they're something unique which virtually nothing else offers. I've taken many trips. Heaps. I've learned so much about myself in the last year of tripping that it feels like I've gained about 5 years worth of knowledge and epiphanies. Psychs are worth it if you can handle them and know what you're doing.

  • @burnonedown09

List some things that are more enlightening? Music. You've got to realize that you get high as well as tripping balls. I tried only once though and yes, I was amazed, but I don't think affects you more than the Beatles. You may have gotten that impression because you were so AWARE of how you felt. You know, the conscious part of the brain can only process between 16-20 bits per second while the entire brain can process up to 160-200.000 bits per second.

  • @BechTalent We'll agree to disagree then. Your response is a bit corny though, as if the Beatles are better than acid. They're a bi-product of the stuff! How can The Beatles be more enlightening than the very thing that enlightened them?

  • @burnonedown09

I really, really can't express my self on so little space as on here. Actually, your argument makes a lot more sense than mine. Thus my corny shortcut :)

  • @BechTalent Hey man, I didn't mean to attack or anything earlier. It's just that I've noticed something about the topic of drugs, especially LSD, where people try to come across as level-headed as in "oh you don't need it la la la". True, you don't need it, but it is a powerful thing. It's even been discussed on here, acid takes over the perspective and perception part of the brain and I've definitely noticed that. I'm not afraid to admit LSD for what it is, a useful drug when used correctly.

  • Also, anyone who doesn't have a family history of mental illness, and thinks they have a creative or oppressed side, should try it at least once or twice in their life. It can, and if used with a positive mindset most likely will, release your inner core and show it to you in a different perspective so you can analyse and critique yourself. Thus, the spiritual quest. Pretty useful if you want. I'm not shoving propaganda around here, I'm just a little tired of a beautiful thing being so taboo.

  • @burnonedown09

Actually I agree with you completely. The fact was that I just had read an article a man in USA owning his own drug lab claiming that there were certain emotions that human beings could ONLY access by the use of drugs. I do not share that opinion, even though I agree it is a unique and sometimes (if you are in the right mood) beautiful and enlightening experience. I just think it's complicated, that's all.

  • @BechTalent That's nonsense what that dude said. Everyone has their way of reaching enlightenment. For some, its travel, others music, some others like to use substance. It doesn't matter, in the end they're all ways to alter your perception of yourself and the world. Use whatever's right for you is what I say. Every person differs, so you cant just say THIS does THAT. There are many different emotions out there, they can be accessed in plenty of different ways. I agree with you, complicated.

  • @burnonedown09

    My thoughts exactly :).

  • @DanielHazel2 I've got two tabs that I'm doing tomorrow morning. Wish me luck.

  • @aegisfate117 Luck Dude Luck!

  • @WiccanAradia Thanks a lot. I can't wait!

  • @aegisfate117 how did it go?

  • @KTMisFORfaggots I haven't done it yet silly. I'm heading to bed in a few, waking up around 5:30am and taking them.

  • @aegisfate117 u must have done it by now....how was it? please tell me every detail im thinking of doing...but plz u have to send me a 300 word essay of what is was like. private message me please! i love you.

  • @KTMisFORfaggots i can tell you right now

  • @KTMisFORfaggots i sent you a very long message. hope you find it helpful. check your inbox.

  • @Antwan41025 thanks alot man! u just made up my mind for me. Do you think i should do it with my gf or just with a friend. do u suggest i go to the beach? and i live in the dominican rebublic...do you think i could get it here man? and is it addicting? cuz i dont wanna get hooked or anything.....btw if i do it with my gf should i take condom? cuz when i do weed wwith her i mostly need 1..is lsd like that? mind my spelling and thanks alot man!

  • @KTMisFORfaggots That depends on who you like more your gf or your friend. If you go to the beach, dont go in the water. It shouldn't be that hard to get some in the dominican republic, if you use that website i told you about. Its not really addicting, for me its just something i do when theres nothing else to do, i dont go through withdrawl or anything like that. Chances are on LSD, you'll be too fucked up to have sex, it would be kind of risky.

  • @DanielHazel2 wwhy dont u do it again?

  • @DanielHazel2 In what way did it change you? What did you take from it for the better? I'm just curious...

  • When I heard this I was coming off of an acid trip & then knew what it meant.

  • Pleasings, how come my bus hasn't arrived yet? I am not understanding this.

  • LSD :D

  • LSD = LOVING STREET DRUGS

  • who made this video? its norman mclarenish to me

  • how to change the life of an Australopithecus.

  • Foothills of the headlines

  • Apparently this song wasn't about LSD. John Lennon's son drew a picture of his friend Lucy in the sky surrounded by diamonds at school one day and John liked it so much he made it into a song.

  • The Beatles were never really the Beatles until 1966 - That's when they stopped copying Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry and started being the Beatles.

  • Many of the scenes from Yellow Submarine's Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds came from the 1933 film Dancing Lady. The woman on the carousel horse is Joan Crawford. She is also the woman dancing with the man, one Fred Astaire. You can tell it's them when the woman wears a dress with poofy feathered shoulders. It was an art experiment: to take those dancing scenes and hand-paint watercolors over the cells of the black and white movie to show parts of it in dazzling color.

  • @ ultrocker1

I can tell you've never done drugs :D

  • Virtual Acid trip. Thanks Beatles!!

  • I love how the artist just sorta went fuck all near the end of the vid, paint everywhere

  • John Lennon+Fredie Mercury=The Kings of the Music.

  • I just came here to hear the song after which is Lucy (the Australopithecus) was named.

    >_<U!

  • My name is Lucy :')

  • 1) Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

    2) Lucy Sky Diamonds

    3) LSD

    4) .....

    5) Profit?

  • Don't you people ever check snopes?

Lucy in the sky with diamonds was the name of a drawing John Lennon's son had drawn for school. The abbreviation "LSD" was purely coincidental.

  • @axeinface

Open your eyes dude. Do you think they could say:" Yeah of course!! It's for LSD"? No,they were junkies. Genius too,but must of all they were on acid

  • @Kdzification But the abbreviation is actually L.S.W.D.

  • @starwarslego123 Actually actually, It's L. I. T. S. W. D

  • @deadrisinglord You don't abbreviate in, a , the (unless it's in the beginning of the abbreviation), and, or or.

  • @deadrisinglord Or of.

  • @Kdzification

They openly stated the song was inspired by LSD, just the abbreviation was coincidental.

  • @axeinface McCartney later said it was inspired by an acid trip

  • @axeinface that doesnt change the fact they consumed lsd

  • @SgGuitarrocker

When did I say they didn't? Show me exactly where I said that.

  • diamond hobby horses so crystal and clear

  • LSD, we all know its coming but we never know when, living life in the future leads us down, certainly was carrying on when someone or something lives in eternity they leave behind trails of their success. Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds is the Beatles giving a little more to history

  • Lucy in the Sky with Dimonds

LS D =lsd thats y the vid id the way it is

  • I think I found a meaning: it's about a relationship cut short. Amirite?

  • LSD = LARGE SAUSAGE DESCENDING. ACCEPT IT.

  • @TheBeatlesExposed no...? how about you take some acid then tell me what its about

  • kids react brought me here

  • you don't need drugs to see the beauty of the song

  • @ultrocker1 all you need is love?

  • @ultrocker1 that is true, but this song needed the beauty of drugs.

  • Comment removed

  • @ultrocker1 Neither to see the psycodelic draws =D

  • @ultrocker1 yup, you may not, but they're a plus ;)

  • @ultrocker1 But i did xD!

  • @ultrocker1 no! more drugus WE must

  • @ultrocker1 but it helps ;)

  • @ultrocker1 You can also have a dry wank, not quite as good as when you used lube though. ;) I'm on shrooms right now and this video is on another fucking planet.Thank you, Beatles.

  • @ultrocker1 But isn't everything prettier with drugs ! Well you are right there is exception where we don't need it cause it's too beautifull ......like this song or just look at me !!

  • @ultrocker1 Guess you are right, however when this song first came out pot; acid; CinZano Vermouth; etc. etc. was the thing to do. I'm glad I survived it. And I no longer do the seventy drugs.

  • @ultrocker1 i agree, but it does definitely help :P

  • @ultrocker1 True. But you need drugs to create the beauty of the song (and the video might I add.)

  • @ultrocker1 But they help.

  • Comment removed

  • @ultrocker1 Pot does help..lol

  • that song was inspired by a drawing that his son julian did...even after Lennon stated that the BBC still banned the song
