@Tahknall grampa simpson has often said that his story began in nineteen dickety two, in 1995 grampa reveals this detail, given the floating timeline this would make him 73 years old, he would have been 20 years old when he was on the PT-109, with bursie it was his 25th yale reunion in 1939 (episode from 1998), so he was born in 1896, which would make him 102 in the floating timeline

"Ich bin ein Berliner !" is a quote from John F. Kennedy.

Two thousand years ago the proudest boast was civis Romanus sum ["I am a Roman citizen"]. Today, in the world of freedom, the proudest boast is "Ich bin ein Berliner!"... All free men, wherever they may live, are citizens of Berlin, and, therefore, as a free man, I take pride in the words "Ich bin ein Berliner!"
He said this by his visit to the built of the german wall. (sry if my english suck, im german).
@Joe7ify No, it's just a joke. JFK said that line showing support for Western Germany after the Berlin Wall. West = Democratic, East = Communist. But Abe Simpson thought that by speaking this line, he was a Nazi (remember how Abe fought in The Second World War 2?)

and these fuckers automaticaly said "he's a nazi"
So, Germans are nazis?

@Joe7ify It's not meant to be taken seriously or to be offensive.
trmptboy2007 4 months ago
@Joe7ify No, it's just a joke. JFK said that line showing support for Western Germany after the Berlin Wall. West = Democratic, East = Communist. But Abe Simpson thought that by speaking this line, he was a Nazi (remember how Abe fought in The Second World War 2?)

@Astroman9991
the german nation MUSTED be nazi, because hitler was a dictator.
so they must do what he says, or they die
Joe7ify 4 months ago
@Joe7ify That is true; of course, that didn't mean that EVERYONE conformed to the Nazi Party. But this is still a classic Simpsons moment.
Astroman9991 4 months ago
Plus, he made that speech years after he served in WWII. If he did say it during WWII, im sure this is what would have happened, hahah.
