a load bearing column is a load bearing column irregardless of whether it is 30, or 110, or 1000 stories tall, you destroy its integrity and a building comes down , a building that was to fall naturally would fall sideways , not straight down, the only way to get a building to do what this one does is with shaped charges on load bearing columns....if some thing like an airplane were to hit it , it probably wouldnt come down at all ....when aluminum or steel hit concrete , concrete wins !!!

Hey genius, lets test your knowledge of physics. Take a box of anything in your kitchen cabinet, try to make it rectangle. stand it on edge and make it fold completely down into its own foot print. Did it work? or do you need to stand on top of it to make it smash? You need more mass pushing down on the structure to make it fold in on itself OR you remove the sides of the box.
Next time think before you speak. A building will naturally fall sideways, not straight down.
