@nymerie Thats why the Spitfire tended to go after them. The Hurricane was numerically the back-bone of the RAF in the battle. It was also the most stable gun platform, and so was used as a bomber destroyer, not as an interceptor. British sentimentality forgot this. Britain needed an icon to strike fear into the Third Reich.
