@HappyDubsX3 Nope, not dead! It turns out that making a full length movie, on no budget, with a handful of people, working in their spare time, is a slow job - who'd have thought, eh? But there's too much done to give up now.

It's not a Firefly, it's a Sandfly, a much smaller vessel in the same family.

How much did the production cost? Set construction etc.  I want to make a fan film and I would love to know about set building.

We got the space for free, which probably made the whole thing possible. Lots of the materials were salvaged, surplus, or bought very cheap. I've no idea what the total was, but it cost about as much as doing a home handyman project every weekend for two years (since that's basically what it was).

When it's done! I wish I could be more specific, but we're a small team working in our spare time, there's lots to do, and we don't want to put anything out until we're reasonably happy with it. We're making progress, though.

This looks great. Are you guys gonna color correct the in-ship scenes? I think you can make it look a lot more professional by color correcting those shots to have more atmosphere.

Yes, these are all raw shots and early animations - lots of work to do yet.
