  • just about almost every glitch doable in the original N64 version can be performed, with the only one unable to be performed being the Infinite Skulltula Glitch! sucks there isn't a way to perform that one glitch in 3DS version :(

    The infinite GS glitch isn't the only one as you you can't do:

    The Basic Superslide (roll into an explosion with the shield up).

    Levitating when changing items from Shield to Bombs as putting the sword away removes the ISG effect now, therefore Hovering is much more restricted on the 3DS version.

    Classic Bottle Duplication (When you swing the bottle to pick up a bug/fish/fairy pause the game and replace the empty bottle with something else).

  • nintendo was going to take ISG (and other glitches) out for the remake but the developers said that the glitchers are fun so they left them in

    Sorry for the bad quality, it isn't a usefull infinity "sword" glitch in OoT 3DS i found today, but anyways, enjoy!

  • a new way to isg in oot3d has been found!! this can lead to some major breaks in the game

  • What about making a bomb explode when you're falling ? Maybe it'll make you get back to the ground, with ISG still activated. Just an idea.

    I think in OoT 3D, getting close to the grotto activates a short cutscene thing while you're falling. See that the icons disappear as he's falling?

  • @METROIDKILLERX leading off of that, maybe you could do something similar to this before a cutscene (poe cutscene for example idk) and have isg still on..? probably not, im assuming that this only works because he is falling which interupts his swing. just an idea, check it out glink ;)

  • @METROIDKILLERX : Yeah I know a kind of cuscene is activated. There was the same thing in the original OoT, but... I think that doesn't necessarily prevent Link from being touched by the explosion. I may be wrong though.

    I'm thinking it would be like whenever Link gets hit while using Din's Fire or something. He doesn't flinch or take damage, but the little red/orange splatters appear.

  • @METROIDKILLERX : Yeah you're surely right. Anyway I guess that even if we could get ISG, we couldn't hover because Nintendo might have added another "security fence" (I mean, maybe Link can't hover anymore because the game no longer allows it)

  • @METROIDKILLERX : They sure are, and actually I do try to find some glitches too, but apart from some old N64 out of bounds glitches I can't find anything so far :p.

  • Im not sure what isg is but Ive done some glitches and I'm guessing it mean infinite sword glow?

    Close, it's actually called the Infinite Sword Glitch.

    It leads to one very important glitch called Hovering which can be done with Bombs, Bombchus or any 'deflectable' damage source like melee attacks that can be blocked and enemy deku nuts. There is a Youtube video in the description showing what it did on the console version.

  • What is you did this as you were easing into a cutscene area? Like slashing madly while walking towards sheika..

  • Now we just need to find out how to do this and keep it maintained

  • Nintendo must've noticed when they were slashing around so they fixed it. Is there a list of glitchs that have been fixed so far?

  • What would happen if you IGS'd off a bomb just as it exploded?

  • Isn't this proof that ISG -doesn't- exist? Or at least the hovering-form ISG. It looks like you fell in the hole despite your sword being in midswing, which means ISG wouldn't prevent you from going off ledges anymore. And that feature is the key reason hovering works.

  • @RingRush well falling is what activated it in the first place so i dont think it really shows you cant fall of ledges AFTER its activated... idk its not even real yet so... D: !!!!

  • It looks like the no falling when sword shine is gone rule is gone. Without that, isg is at best a way to single cycle stuff...

  • Try using the MM method of getting isg. Take out a bomb and as its about to explode do a crouch stab and let go of all buttons

  • Have you tried isg with different items like the megaton hammer or deku stick? perhaps it has something to do with the item itself rather than the method used to obtain isg
