I was wondering. Since this was posted some have you since gone back to Webroot and if you have has this problem been resolved.

after you have used window washer say on gutmann 35 take any free recovery software tool and scan your HD and see what you can recover it will be everything use CyberScrube prob the best there is..eset is class anti virus as so sophos!!..
