  • nice job! looking forward to the beta. i am currently using iFonz theme on wm 6, and for what it does, it's great. but it's just a front end. it's the apps that count.

    I'm a Mac guy for everything but the phone. i love the transcriber and handwriting/recognition features of WM -- and that's the primary reason I got it.

  • But where, the hell is MULTITOUCH on this movie? MultiTouch - as name indicates is the way to operate using multiple (2,3) fingers - a guy on this photo uses always only one finger or one "stick".

    Have you ever used iPhone's two finger zoom for example?

    This is some mod in the apperence of the smartphone rather than multitouch techology itself, So regarding to the title - it is fake.

    But good job in drawing attention.

  • you need hardware which supports multitouch. PDA doesn't support this, so you can only use one finger

  • some of that "single touch" hardware DOES support multitouch by itself, it's the driver that doesn't support it...

    U cant make from old 1 point press based touch screen an iPhone's multi-touch.

    N btw. take closer look on os response time, loading Photos take AGES! When on iPhone is thunder fast!

    So, why imitate if u can innovate n get ONE - iPhone!

  • What is amazing is the list of device they show it working on. The iPhone has 800Mhz processor, they have an hp 3800 or 3700 not sure which but it certainly only has 200Mhz processor! Smart guys, and well done!

  • Multi-touch can be true ! Only one finger is moving if you take care. If you are using a WM device, maybe you can try to do so and check how it moves. Yeah, there is a specific reaction. So I think that it's possible to use this kind of "multi touch".

    For pictures... It's stupid. Most of WM devices use slow Flash memory. You cannot expect the device to load a picture in less than 1 second if it takes 5 seconds to read it (my Flash memory is 300KB/s, quite slow). In the video it's a tiny picture
