  • Marty you didn't fall asleep did you

  • this is my alarm clock song along with back in time

  • after 25 yrs since BTTF was released, i finally made it over to Puente Hills Mall to see the actual site where Twin Pines/Lone Pine Mall scene happened. Its noteworthy that theres a mountain top thats visible in background (where the Ross store is, when Marty arrives on his skateboard & removes his headset)...the mountain isnt visible at night though. also..the parking lot is so small (looks huge in the film)..& mall security prohibits photograhy (but me being sneaky, i got some pics and vids!!)

  • i didnt know this was lindsey buckingham, same bloke who did a great track called trouble

  • @roaduser as well as wrote a lot of the best songs for that little know band fleetwood mac

  • @miko1975guitar i didnt know that but i dont really have a massive interest in Fleetwood Mac. Rooms on fire by Stevie Nicks is decent attempt though.

  • I love michael j fox :O ! This song is so precious to me :'(

  • I don't remember I listened to this in the movie ... Could you tell me in which part of the movie it is ?!

  • @MJrockmyworld13 It's in the scene where McFly is sleeping and this song was playing in the his radio.

  • @jeanlandim Ohh ok !! Thx a bunch !!

  • @jeanlandim This is true. I have watched BTTF over 5 Hundred times on various media (VHS, Cable, TV Broadcast, DVD) and it wasn't till I watched it on Bluray that I could clearly hear the song in that scene.

  • suits marty's sleeping position :)

  • marty you didn't fall asleep did you?

  • The sound quality is RUBBISH !

  • This would be great to dance to at a rhythmic ceremonial ritual.

  • Perfect song to wake up to in the middle of the night in the '80s.

  • This song almost sounds like The Cars.

  • @governorgilf I think the same thing... 'oh, oh is magiiic'

  • Comment removed

  • @buttlord123 ??? What's with the hostility? I've loved this song for years, and hearing it this time around it kinda reminded me of a song the Cars might have done. It was a great time for music. I like Lindsey and I like the Cars. What's the big deal?

  • @governorgilf Just wanna say Im sorry and I love you, hope you forgive me.

  • This is my Doc....AAAAeeehhh, uh, Uncle...Doc...Brown.

  • were is this song in the movie??

    i can't remember

  • @Fraaa1985 It's in the scene where Marty is sleeping, right before he goes to the mall. Doc wakes him up to ask him to bring his video camera. It's playing on the radio.

  • LOL @ 2:32 "BUCK,BUCK,BUCK,BUCK,BUCK,YEA OH!"

  • I like this song b/c it's a random 80s song that isn't Huey Lewis and the News or ZZ Top.

  • This song takes me straight back to being 15 again!

  • doh, i hate typos...i meant 1985. but since were talking about time travel,..i suppose chronological errors dont count.

  • hey klwewf,..if you woke up and your sister has a new job making more money...thats still a bttf reference, as we all know how the end of bttf goes when marty returns to the "new" 1895.

  • for the longest time, during the scene in bttf when marty is sleeping and this song is playing, theres a poster hanging up on martys wall that says "sports" on it...i always thought it was just a generic football poster, or something like it....had no idea until recently that its the name of a huey lewis album...it should be noted, that i loathe music with excessive horns, which is why i dont care much for huey lewis and the news.

  • such a weird song but i love it, so lmao when i listen to it

  • This is the type of song you hear on the radio around 1:30 on a Friday Night. I actually heard this song on the radio once not that long ago while driving down the highway with firends at 1 in the morning. lol

"Back to the Future" had it correct with playing this song while Marty was sleep.

It is still a cool song, but I like "Holiday Road" much better.

  • I´ve seen the movie 20 times at least - but it don´t recall the song - it sucks

  • @Androjaeger Moron. Lol. It plays on Marty's alarm clocked at the beginning of the movie, just before Doc calls him to remind him about the mall. Must not have paid much attention through those 20 runs.

  • such an 80s song! love it :)

  • someone the window open and now this place is full of BEES!!!

who let all these BEES in here?

    arrrrrrrg, i hate BEES!!!!

  • Awesome movie, awesome song. Too bad they don't make them like this anymore. Music today sucks for the most part and the same with movies. They're full of douchebags who think they're big shit. What I loved about Back to the Future and so many other movies of the time was how the good guy characters in the movies were humble & not full of themselves. Other than Tobey McGuire's Spider-Man/Peter Parker, I hardly see any humble characters in action/adventure movies anymore.

  • Don't knock time travel

  • His alarm clock played this.

  • I love this song!

  • What I always loved about the scene this song features in is how Marty is sleeping in the most uncomfortable-looking way possible. Michael J Fox even managed to get comedy from such a simple moment.

I quite like this song, it's quirky. Also in one of my favourite keys - G# minor.

  • @whoiscuriousgeorge G# minor is a good accord

  • @whoiscuriousgeorge Coincidentally I sleep like that too, it's actually quite comfortable!

  • @whoiscuriousgeorge

the saddest of all the keys

  • wow. why is everybody so angry with this tune? Not his best, but come on! It's not as bad as most of the stuff on the radio right now!

  • @thechazdarby i think the same thing...

  • I think a 6-year old with a sugar high and a mini-keyboard can come up with a better song than this...

  • So why don't you try it then?

  • I also fell asleep to this song once, some mad old man then phoned me up to remind me to pick up his video camera before I meet him over at Twin Pines Mall to try out the time machine. I said 'What time do you call this? don't ever wake me up again you idiot'

  • Bellísimo...

  • get a grip

  • Why?

  • it's playing in the scene where Marty is lying in a weird position in his bed, asleep, and gets woken up by the Doc calling him to make sure he's still coming to meet him in the mall parking lot.

  • "Marty, you didn't fall asleep on me did you?"

  • "Uh, Doc. Uh, no, no. Don...don't be silly".

  • "Listen, this is very important. I forgot my video camera. Can you stop by my place and pick it up on your way to the mall?"

  • I have often went to sleep listening to this. Relaxing! I love Lindsey!

  • I can't think nothin' else...

    \o/

  • i wanna go to sleep listening to this song like marty mcfly did in the movie..maybe then, ill get awaken with a phone call from some mad scientist wanting me to meet him in the middle of the night in some abandoned mall parking lot.

  • yeah maybe lol

  • I was almost positive it was the Eric Clapton song that was in that scene when Marty had fallen asleep...

  • ok, I have to correct my previous comment...I watched that scene and it was indeed "Time Bomb Town" that was playing on Marty's alarm clock when he fell asleep. Sorry!

  • I fell asleep to this tune years ago (have the soundtracks). Didn't get a call from a scientist. But, when I woke up the next morning, I found out my sister had a brand new job, making a lot more money. Freaked me out!!

  • @mireaux7 I hope that will happen!

  • @mireaux7 ummm hopefully for the purpose of time travel right? LOL

  • @mireaux7 getting his camcorder LOL :D

  • @mireaux7 Gosh you make that sound like it's a bad thing. ;-)

  • @mireaux7 to have sex, or just to play with the time machine car?

  • need . . . more . . . Lindsey . . .

  • u called my name? :D

  • best movie trilogy ever made!!! i wish i lived in the 80's...

  • Grab yourself a Flux Capasitor and you're halfway there.

  • why have you been given a thumbs down? you are clearly just giving grade A advice to tqdvorak or unknownnobody13, sheesh, whats wrong with people?

  • Who knows, teamcrumb. Maybe we're dealing with the bastard offspring of Biff Tannen.

  • God damn bruisers! If you live in a time bomb town you gotta get used to time bomb action.

  • capacitor not capasitor

  • i wish i lived in 50s it looked so much easier

  • I love this song a lot more than I should. I was obsessed with it back in 1997 when I rediscovered the soundtrack in my mom's collection.

  • This song is so weirdly amazing.

And Back to the Future is quite simply unbeatable.

  • Its playing on the radio in the background when marty is sleeping in his bed and doc calls him to come to the twin pines mall.

  • best movie in the entire world! my absolute favorite!!

  • this is the greatest movie ever made...ever

  • freak and genius is the same

  • mitic song w anni 80

  • he loves having dogs barking in his songs haha

feel sorry for him though he wrote the song for the movie and you hear it for like ten seconds in the background! Although it probably would be hard to incorparate this song into the movie lol

  • One of my favorite Lindsey songs. The whole reason why I own the BTTF soundtrack!

  • I have the Back to the Future soundtrack on vinyl! I forgot what a great soundtrack the movie had until I listened to it again.

  • a very under rated song... its cool in the movie. maybe if it was a little longer it would have been a hit.

  • he was manic after fleetwood mac. 10x cooler too

  • So eighties ain't it .

He is not afraid to be different.

That how he comes up with those amazing songs

like Never going back and live performances of

Big Love and Go Insane ... He is a freak and we love him.. All hail Lindsey !!

  • buckingham has an interesting guitar playing style-this was obviously throwaway filler.

  • God video and music ...

    congralations lindsey!!1

  • hearing the song sounds different when I saw Back to the Future

  • You could barely hear it in the movie.

  • true but also the part when you hear "there got be about a million" you can't hear the music after that must of quiet out when the phone rang for Marty

  • I remember this song from Back to the future when Marty was sleepng with the alarm clock radio on

  • Awes0m€ (l)

    Lol

  • Whens it played inthe movie?

    on Martys radio isnt it?

  • yeah it was I got the movie on DVD now

  • yeaheeeeeaaaait uuuhhhhhh wohoooooaaaaaaa oooooooooooo!
