I think we can all take a spirit of discernment with Todd Bentley without being completely for or completely against his ministry. I am not the biggest fan of his methods, but how could thousands of people be fooled into thinking they were healed of cancer or other diseases? There is some truth to what Todd is saying, there is going to be a major outpouring of the Holy Spirit before the second coming (Joel), and God certainly is doing miracles everyday on the streets, most of them in private..
First, Bentley has been unable to come up with a single shred of evidence that he has healed ANYONE.
Second, in groups like this, peer pressure keeps them from questioning - they're told that they have to keep believing in order to get healed, or not to say a negative word so they don't lose their healing.
Third, the passage in Joel refers to Jesus' time, not ours.
Fourth, Bentley's false teaching alone should send you running from him.

Peter denied Jesus and yet we use scripture with positive affect to share with others the benefits of his inspirational messages.

Todd has repented and gone on with life. He has realized that he has made mistakes and has asked God for forgiveness. I am glad he does recognize sin as sin and compels otheres to come to repentence. I know Todd Bentley. He is still human and I know that he loves Jesus. I also know that he still needs grace for his mistakes just like I do. That does not make him a false prophet. He is a revivalist, and evangelist who is a fire starter. All the disciples forsook Jesus after his death until he appeared to them and upbraided the for their hardness of heart. I think we can all take a spirit of discernment with Todd Bentley without being completely for or completely against his ministry. I am not the biggest fan of his methods, but how could thousands of people be fooled into thinking they were healed of cancer or other diseases? There is some truth to what Todd is saying, there is going to be a major outpouring of the Holy Spirit before the second coming (Joel), and God certainly is doing miracles everyday on the streets, most of them in private..

First, Bentley has been unable to come up with a single shred of evidence that he has healed ANYONE.
Second, in groups like this, peer pressure keeps them from questioning - they're told that they have to keep believing in order to get healed, or not to say a negative word so they don't lose their healing.
Third, the passage in Joel refers to Jesus' time, not ours.
Fourth, Bentley's false teaching alone should send you running from him.

Matthew 7:22-23 is unfortunately Todd Bently's life verse:

You I have come to the comclusion that people are always going to come against the movement of God. Todd may not look like someone you want to be from God, but he always points back to God. I myself was a doubter, it took me 4months to be convinced that this man is legit, and he is. You can call me stupid, crazy, and demon posessed, but I glorify Jesus Christ and not man, so go ahead.

The high court using local governments executed these people charged with witchcraft which ranged from ( talking to spirits, healing by laying on of hands, casting out Demons, in some cases praying in public.

Rather than fling baseless accusations & eisegetic scriptural references at Todd Bentley, perhaps some of you so called 'True Christians' here on the comment boards, should make the effort to put together a factual documentary, including a direct debate/interview with Bentley as to why you assert he is a 'false teacher'. Following a false teacher is certainly dangerous, yet making accusations against a man of God (essentially blaspheming against the holy spirit) is equally dangerous. Wake up.

John 10:10 says, "The thief cometh not but to kill, steal, and destroy. I have come that they might have life more abundantly." If Todd is doing what Jesus did, he is being a vessel to bring abundant life. That means the blind see, the deaf hear, the dead are raised back to life, and the gospel is preached to the poor. You can always tell them by their fruits.

I'm new to Bentley, please tell me which tattoos he had done after his conversion that you consider 'cultic'. Did you find this info somewhere online? I'd like to find out more about him & what the deal is. I know many Christians who have tattoos, many of whom have gotten tattoos after their conversion (proper exegetic understanding of Leviticus 23 means you don't cut yourself or mark your body to appease false gods when somebody dies, not outlawing tattoos altogether)Occult tattoos are a no-no!
