I love this show! I recorded it a long time ago on TNT. I drag it out every once in awhile and watch it. I think it's the best documentary type shows on Elvis I have seen.
Can Someone tell me where i can get the whole collection on this series...i've done the amazon..and a list of others i have tried the original name "Elvis"...TNT's renamed version "Elvis:The Early Years" and keep getting John Rys Meyers(who is a good actor..but not what i am looking for)...i most of this collection..but i was a kid and edited commercials just aint my thing anymore..
this looks sooooo good! Michey is ADORABLE as Elvis! I would have loved to have seen this on TV (born a year too late, hehe) any chance you could upload full episodes?
Oh I loved Michael St. Gerard playing Elvis- one of the best looking Elvis' I have seen. I love the early years..I wish they would put this out on dvd! Michael rocked!! = ) Thanks for sharing it!!
I wish that this show stayed on for longer than it did, Michael St Gerard did such a fantastic job, did you know he quit being an actor and went into the ministery in New York?
can u guys plzz i mean plzzz put the whole thing on like season one i have never seen it and im a huge Elvis fan and im dieing to see this any one that could get the whole thing on here i will be soo greatful to and plz tell me what to write in the search bar so i no were to find it plzz come do casue u are fan and spared the love thanz
Are you aware that it takes him two hours with wigs and make up to look like that? He wears about four wigs in the show for the various eras and they (the wigs) are about $1000.00 each. There is a lot involved in getting him to look like that for sure but it pays off as this is the strongest illusion I have ever seen.
Maybe it was an illusion as you say, I was not referring to how long he spent in Make-up. wonder if he also had to wear those wigs when he acted in Beverly Hills 90210? 'cause he looked the same then, and he was not acting as Elvis.
I guess I was just taken aback at your statement that Tribute artists/impersonators are now referring to themselves as actors.
We are talking about two different things here. I was reffering to Martin Fontain in The Elvis Story. This guy here in the TV show is Michel St. Gerard and he actually does look like this naturally. Now as far as the other comment , I've always loved acting and then I became a tribute artist. A lot of guys don't like to be called impersonators so they go I'm an actor who happens to do a lot of the Elvis stuff OR I'm an actor playing the part of a singer. Check out Elvis Story on you tube.

I'm aware of Martin Fontaine's The Elvis Story. But this clip is from Elvis, the early years. Fontaine was not in this tv series.

Martin is not an impersonator he is an actor as most tribute artists are.

But this "actor" actually looks like Elvis, I bet truth be told most immitators/impersonators would give their eye teeth to look like him.
