Lots of internet people say that, I haven't met anyone in real life say it though. Sponsored people, oldschool tech guys and ams I've talked to all call these things casperflips. Once I get a clear description from a credible source then I might change my mind :)

a casper flip is that, except your backfoot pushes down on the tail when the board is halfway flipped (like a casper)

Look, I know. Its says this all over the internet. But its ONLY on the internet. In magazines and in real life I've only ever seen people call these casperflips. After all, "hospitals" are a nose-ended truckstand flipped end over as a way of dropping into a slope...

sorry for the double comment, but couldn't you try the trick as many times as you wanted in SKATE and post the land on youtube? or are the rules differetn?

Its a little different to a normal game. All the normal rules apply, but you get as many attempts as you want within the 3 days. You only need to land one. But most of the time you need to learn the set trick in the 3 days anyway. Luckily I already knew these and just had to get them on a bank. :)

Its more about learning speed instead of consistency.

I know thats what lots of people call them recently, but its just like the illusionflip / hardflip thing. It doesn't HAVE to be called a hospitalflip, you can still call it a casperflip if you want. Hospitalflip is a type of casperflip.

Its really rough cement on those bits even with wax, but I have been grinding / boardsliding the end bit :D
