I agree, Steve's method is excellent. I have only been using Lingq for about a month and a half but have seen great improvement. I have made more progress with Lingq than I have ever had with any formal class or any other language learning method. Keep up the good work at Lingq Steve.

Beware of anyone trying to sell you a system in which you have to save words or phrases. How many words or phrases have you saved in your first language?
Do you speak with an accent in your first language? You shouldn't have to speak with one in your second.
Wow thats a great video! I would say, however, that Steve Kaufmann and Steven Krashen are of the same view as ALG. Saving words and phrases is simply the implementation of the online system developed in order to allow a greater understanding (reading, listening mostly) to grow their knowledge of the language like a child. Steve talks about this in his other introductory videos on youtube.
P.S. I just finished watching about half a dozen videos from algworld from your link and I'm really interested to hear what Steve thinks - because the lingQ method does leverage existing languages learned by the adult to augment the language learning process. Those videos suggest that such a method is counterproductive in the long run, so I'm interested to see what the arguments for/against it are.
Maybe you need to understand Steve's method before you put it down. Personally I've researched language learning methods for over 15 years, and taught for 5 years. I've seen many people try to make a buck off so called "secret techniques". Well, firstly Steve is not trying to make a buck off anyone. Secondly, Steve's method is the only way. You realise this after studying for many years. It's no secret. There're no short cuts. Only efficient use of time. And this is why Steve's method shines!
