helena is a hick town, hands down. and everything these people said about the town is false its a horrible place to raise kids because there's nothing for them to do, its crowded and everything 'interesting" is "interesting" for about 5 seconds before it gets old and you never want to hear about it again. and people get way to excited over the damn high school rivalry because it's the only thing to get excited about. i hated helena and i only lived their for 2 years.

ever since i saw "a river runs through it" iv wanted to visit montana. It reminds me of the south west of Ireland in some ways except with much more defined seasons. it looks beautiful though.

Hate to say it, it's the most unfriendly place I have ever lived. If you arent born there blah blah..They blame everyone else for whats wrong and funny the video didnt mention the DUI rates, the tweekers, and the horrible pay for there lack of jobs...Maybe I just missed that part... Oh and apparently it's acceptable to wear your pj's and those damn crocks everywhere... I lived there for 2 1/2 years soooooooooooooo happy I left

Looking at the quality of this vid makes me believe that they probably make our local commercials as well! :P All joking aside, I've been a Helenan all of my life, well more correctly I lived in Clancy for most of it, but that's only a few minutes away, and I must say that it's been great. Many people, mostly kids, complain that there's nothing to do here, but I can tell you there's more than meets the eye, you just have to know where to look.

I was born in Helena and lived there until i was about 5. So when that lady asked her daughter what she wanted to do, i knew immediately the girl would say go to the carousel because that was the funnest thing to do! :)!

I have been to Helena, and It is a very historical and beautiful town. The people are very nice and the streets are not crowded at all.

I went to college at Carroll College and Helena has some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

I'm from the Seattle area, and you don't find that all of the time in the bigger cities.

I recently moved to texas from helena. I hated the fact i was 1 of the 20 (hispanics,blacks,asians,ect) people in my school who WASNT white...it was so hard to embrace my heritage. scince i moved i dont miss helena AT ALL (miss my friends tho) but at least texas is more diverse...

Helena is ok... Post Falls, Idaho is awesome! Right between Spokane, WA and Coeur D' Alene, ID it is perfect! Post Falls has the Riverfront Hotel, The Dam, Awesome Night Clubs, and you can go swimming, skiing, driving, 4 wheeling, shopping, get a cab, ride a bus, ride a train, climb, dance, party, and bike! Something for everyone. Plus the casino is just a ride away for gamblers! Post Falls is perfect, I want to move there.

Helena is the greatest city in the world. Grew up here, wanted to leave, moved to CT.. UT.. Kuwait.. came back. Snow ski area, 30 min away.. 3 great lakes all within 20 minutes. For all of you haters, if you don't like it, either do something to make it better, or leave! I left 3 times and realized that Helena is the greatest city in the world. TONS to do if you like going to the lake or snow skiing... no clubbing... which is AWESOME!!! No GIANT MALL.. Also Awsome!!! we have a COSTCO... AWESOME!
