Here is another reference w/i Dr Who. The Dr xfers his essence into a pocket watch in ep. 'Human Nature' & 'Family of Blood'. (Horcrux?) Distraught, he stated, as John Smith, that he must die for the other (the real Doctor) to live. Also, in the last sec. of the last season ep., Last of the Timelords. They cut to the Masters ring on the ground after the funeral fire, & faded away with evil laughter. (His soul saved in his ring to be revived later?)
