I love SSgt. Sadler's version, but, this is absolutely amazing. I am not embarassed in anyway to say that it brought me tears every bit as much as the original. I love the added verse. My heart soared, and I smiled through the tears ... it made me so proud to hear Dolly do this amazing song.

I am a veteran, and there's few things that my my pride come out like patriotism. I love this song, this country, and Dolly for having done this tribute.

Good version regardless of who sings it. Barry was a Military Man. He knew cadence. Dolly was a singer. That's what she she knows. I am a classically trained singer, so when I sing anything other then opera it feels odd for me to have to change the way my voice sounds. It just is the way it is.
