What asburger's is (I agree it's not rare anymore) is a high funtioning type of autism that is less focused on moter skills, like the kid, but more on social skills, like developing relationships. Part of the point of the episode, which it didn't reveal until the end, was that autism isn't retardation, that they are smart but have more trouble than usual expressing themselves. I have autism (they think it's asburger's now, but if don't need help, why get it) i would know.

I have PDDNOS, but it has advantages... For me at least. I can count anything within a short amount of time. Though i have social difficulties. But House is a nice serie. Although i prefer him playing in blackadder! Were Laurie even acts better. But this show is also great.
