It's hard to think Mickey that it has been 2 years since you've pasted. But the boys did it for you winning the Memorial Cup. I think it still hurts Taylor and the guys not to see you in the dressing room. Rest in Peace Mickey
i went to the game against belleville, and wow how sad. Mickey Renaud will always be remembered as a great hockey player ,but more importantly a great person. R.I.P
the songs played on the first game back will always remind me of him...its seems like whever i go i hear at least one of the songs, and it brings me back to that night, but its a good thing, because its a reminder of a great young man that will never be forgotten
R.I.P. Mickey-you were a guy who was my hero, and you were alwase there to help your team when things were needed to be fixed. I am going to play hockey in Essex, even though i am 13, but what made me want to play was because you are a guy who i looked at and thought, hey, i want to be just like him...R.I.P. MICKEY
My heart goes out the the Renaud family, the entire hockey community, and anyone that has lost a child at any age. Things like this are hard to understand. We all need to think about this whenever we have a bad day and want to complain. This young man was only 19. SUCH A SHAME.
Everytime i hear these songs play somewhere, i think of this game, and mickey, and all the emotions, you will be remembered forever and always, even people who never met you are mourning over you, and people who dont even know you are keeping you alive, its just not fair at all, and no one will ever know why things like this happen,
but now you have become a part of my life, these songs are always in my head, when i see the number 18, when i go to the spits games, when i watch hockey on tv..your everywhere in my life, and you will always be.
pretty messed up, hes my age, and it an happen to anyone... very classy video, i saw the game when they played on TV and was a great way to honor him, with the pre game
They didn't show it on here but during the warm up, the spits were wearing a red jeresy that had number 18 on it with the C on the top right corner and Renaud on the back. We knew that was going to be happening. Unlike what the Bulls did, they with the same jersey's just white. After the warm up the Bulls had given they're Jerseys to the spits management

DJ Smith (current assistant coach and former captain of the Spits) was largely responsible for the content of this video. Awesome work DJ. RIP Mouse.
