  • are these legal in california

  • @Dubswitch I doubt it. In the USA it's an SBS and I would be surprised if you can have any NFA guns in California. I might be wrong but I don't care to research it as I will never live in the USA let alone California :p

  • I believe that mag works better with 2-3/4 rounds. And I dont think its a good idea to hold the mag while shooting. I just ordered the 12.5" with ghost ring sights and tube mag.

  • Awful shotgun. I'm an owner, and I can tell you - if you're going to buy a short barrel shotgun, buy a real 870. The Dlask 870 and don't waste your money like I did.

I don't trust this thing as far as a 6 year old can throw this POS. speaking of which, why does it weigh as much as my 590 that has a Surefire fore end, Messa tactical 6 shell side saddle and a Knox stock?

If this is the only shotgun in your price range, then save a little longer and buy the real thing. You'll kick yourself for no

  • @Justins1877 You're right. It's a Chinese gun in every sense of the word. It weighs a lot because the receiver is cheap, thick steel instead of aluminum. I'm gonna try polishing the chamber, see if it helps. I shot a deer with it but it took two shots. And jammed in between haha.

  • i seen alot of these guns jam up so far

  • hey man thinking of picking up one of these. you get many fail to fire, any mag problems, stuff like that?

  • il jamming also because you seem to be using cheap Winchester ammo. i had the same problem with my shotgun, which wasn't mag-fed but made by the same company. i resolved my problem by using exclusively federal ammo.

  • Its Jamming because your holding the gun by the Magazine Dum Dum.

  • Thanks for the video.... Can you tell me what kind of a spread the shots make at about 15 yards when it comes out of a 12.5" barrel?

  • @wilkbor I will try getting around to testing it with shot - I've used mainly slugs.

  • It works a bit smoother once it has a few rounds through it. I bought 3 extra mags from canadaammo . com

  • you can get extra mags for this fire arm i know where ta get em and the action looked real rough to handle it seems like a nice peace for a colletion but nothing to relie on in the feild

  • im wondering if there are any shells in the tube since you have the mag.

  • @9mrsimz Nope, it's empty even though there's a spring inside it. I guess you could use it to store a small survival kit

  • @jakethesnakelimited thanks coudnt figure that out.

  • I would imagine that a shotgun slug would be more powerfull than any rifle round, am I wrong?

  • @rajvosa71000 Unfortunately, you are quite wrong lol. A typical 12 ga slug has about 2300 ft lbs of muzzle energy. My .300 Win Mag has 3500 ft lbs at the muzzle and the .458 Win Mag I once used to shoot a grizzly cranks out 4850 ft lbs of energy!! And let's not forget the venerable .50 BMG at 12,500 hehe.

  • @jakethesnakelimited hmm, interesting, but a slug is a fatter round and i thought it would make more damage despite muzzle energy, and might be easier to defend from a grizzly at a closer range.

  • Will be sold at wallymart!!

  • I almost have some new found, weird respect for Canada now. Almost. I dig how it's classified as "Non-Restricted". Pretty cool shotgun, too bad we have to go through all the bullshit in the US to own a short barreled rifle/shotgun. I could really learn to love one of those.

  • If it's know for jamming when using 3" shells, then the obvious solution is to not use 3" shells

  • Seems like a waste of money to register something that jams so much.

  • @gregoryjamesaustin It's smoothed out quite a bit now that the metal has worn in. But it's still a far cry from a nice rotating bolt pump-action - a Winchester 1300 is buttery smooth compared to the grizzly.

  • @jakethesnakelimited Glad to hear it smoothed out. Have you tried other mags? Not to familiar with this shotgun. Looks very similar to a Remington 870 or Smith and Wesson 3000.

  • @gregoryjamesaustin It's an 870 clone; parts are largely interchangeable. There are no other mags other than the originals available since this gun was never produced in large numbers. (My serial number is lower than 5000.)

  • Sticky and binding action. Doesn't look smooth.

  • Str8 crap son! Every dominion arms grizzly I'veseen and used fed like crap and jammed up.

  • does this thing FEED well? Seems you had some trouble

  • What .. A CHINEESE CRAP !!!

  • question is will it kill a grizzly in one shot

  • @mogges1 I dunno, I use a .458 Win Mag on grizzly lol

  • @mogges1 when i first got my shotgun i didn't think it could kill a bear too until I shot it side by side with a 5.56, 30-30, 7.62 x54r, and 30-06 and realized that slugs are way more powerful than rifles. I'm pretty sure buckshot will kill them and slugs definitely. I have also have hexolit32 steel slugs which can pentrate and engine block so im sure it can kill a bear

  • fuck that pile. after the fist shot the bear would eat you.

  • @ShutUPandBLAZEit yeah cause you know bears love to eat people who shoot them....

  • @brunogitti Actually, they have a pretty good reputation (this brand, not the Chinese).

  • @zeppelinesque

Yup, the guys on CanadianGunNutz should know. Some of these Dominion Arms shotguns have over 10,000 rounds through them and no misfires... Ask a Canadian if you want to know how well the Chinese guns work. Some are crap, some are awesome. This is one of the awesome ones. The Norinco 1911 and M14s are good too...now. Old M14s were not so go.

  • where is this gun made? also is this legal in the US?

  • @jigglejack100 China and no they do not import to US.

  • @jigglejack100 Even if it was imported to the US, it would be an NFA Class 3 firearm with a $200 transfer tax. Also, gun imports to the US from China have special restrictions, thanks to Bill Clinton.

  • @jakethesnakelimited bill clinton is a big dooshbag!!

  • @jakethesnakelimited how did you get one? do you have the license or something?

  • That's awesome. I wanted to get one, but I'm waiting until they make one with an 8.5" barrel that is also box magazine fed.

  • @MegaMonkeyChunk Yeah, that would be pretty sweet! :-)

  • @jakethesnakelimited Dude throw that pieces of shit in the trash as soon as you can.

  • @MegaMonkeyChunk my bro have the 8" grizzly, I have the 12.5 " mag fed and try to put his barrel : verdict: its look really weird, IMO

  • I just got mine a couple of days ago....sweet,I have not fired the 12 1/2 inch bbl, however my buddy got the 8 inch bbl and man it kicks like a mule,we had no problems at all with 3inch shells,do you mean jams cuz of the magazine....where did you hear about that?

  • @tnc07232008 Yeah, it's a problem with the magazine; even canada ammo's website says the mag is designed for 2-3/4" shells. I don't find the recoil to be bad on my gun but, then again, I've hunted with a .458 Win Mag. I want to stick an 8 inch bbl on my gun :-D

  • @jakethesnakelimited Thanks for reply......I am going this weekend to test my new 12 1/2 dominion arms, start off with slugs, like yourself and some 00 and 000 buck and some birdshot ...btw....how did the 3 inch ooo buck feel, these shotguns are very heavy and very loud too...happy and safe shooting dude.

  • @tnc07232008 Haha don't forget earplugs like me! You'll definitely feel the recoil with 3 inchers but it isn't painful, thanks to the weight.
