  • I don't know what to say.

  • Does anyone know where can I get this midi file?

  • @spikevalentine13 try here vgmusic.com

  • Capcom logo. Maybe capcom got lazy and decided to use megaman music. imo

  • Fits gambit perfectly.

  • Song reminds me of the England stage in Final Fight 2.

  • @ndjaelia Well you know games from Capcom back then had the same essence in the music, Street Fighter, Final Fight, Marvel games, Aladdin, Megaman ect...

  • @MrMG1984 I know, I had all of those games. ;}

  • Good ol' Gambit. He's tken a back seat, just like Cyclops, but he's still one of my favorite, from the Marvel line. Scratch that, my favorite, from Marvel. Easily.

  • Was the point of this game to fool the player that Apocalypse was the main villain when really it's Magneto?

  • @Nightavenger2 It sure felt that way when I first played it and I liked it. A nice twist

  • @Drc902 Of all first levels the hardest was a tie between Cyc, and Beast. Wolverine', Gambit, and Psylocke's first levels all seem the same in terms of difficulty. The boss in Gambit's first level was the easiest.

Exodus is such a pussy. He doesn't come down to the ground to fight. Ghost Rider would dash his ass but he would be dumb enough to say expect to get steamrolled.

  • @Drc902 It's called X Men Mutant Apocalypse not Mutant Magneto. Magneto is not on the cover.

  • @Nightavenger2

doesnt matter. its mutant apocalypse as in the apocalypse of mutants not Apocalypse the mutant. Magneto is the final boss. As a matter of fact apocalypse was relegated to fodder in this game, u fight him in an early level.

  • So I heard they were suppose to make a sequel for the Nintendo 64 except it never happened.

  • yea psylocke was random

  • Don't mess with the cajun.

  • Hells to the yeah for Super Nintendo ROCK!! Just like X and Zero. Sounds very similar, they do.

  • Damn, I want brown long-coat and that semi-mask Gambit has

    Fucking badass!

    Best X-Men character

PS: Jubilee should have been in this game...

  • @Ghostlywolf I was thinking the same damn thing!!

  • Agreed about Jubilee. She would have been awesome to play with. Today, it seems that most people have forgotten about her. It's a shame.

  • @pyromaniacforhire

So great to see good old X-Men fans. Sucks how most have forgotten Jubilee. If only she was portrayed to be a "stronger" character in the cartoons and comics...

She had a lot of potential for growth, and could have turned out to be a great X-Men character (more than she was)

PS: Loved her pyro mutant powers (if I'm right they were trying train her up so that she could release more of that power.) Again, she had a lot of potential. Not sure how the comics have handled her.

  • @Ghostlywolf: Capcom most likely didn't use Jubilee because they probably couldn't think of a good move set to give her. If it helps, I would have liked to have seen Storm and Jean Grey in the game playable characters as well.

  • @Loader2K1 Agreed, and you're probably right.

  • @pyromaniacforhire: Thanks. Honestly, I was surprised to see Cyclops, Beast, and Gambit tearing ass in this game, because I never really saw them as hand-to-hand combat fighters. I'm mostly familiar with the classic X-Men from watching the cartoon adaptation from the early '90s, so I don't know if they relied more on their mutant abilities in the comics or not.

  • Love to have this theme playing at my 24 Hour fitness gym. Wait just my gym I say all gyms that have operating radios.

  • @Nightavenger2 Yeah, and then as the days progress, you'll find yourself showing up dressed in a long brown overcoat, holding a big ass broom stick, throwing cards at people. It's infectious!!

  • Nice ...

  • Such a slick theme for a such a Slick X-Men. Sounds like Techno with a bit of a eletric guitar.

  • Makes me think some badass walks into a bar to chill out when some PO'd drunk tries to hassle him, but he's not showing signs of worry 'cause he's badass.

  • I almost had the same image too when I heard this song. XD Yeah, it's kind of like those songs when you know trouble is about to go down. Lol

  • hahahahha

  • Excellent theme for a excellent character,

  • I like the bass

  • 80s/90s style!

You don't hear that kind of badassness in a bass these days

  • The music for this game was highly overlooked as some very quality stuff on the SNES. Especially this tune. The slap bass is incredible. The organ fits perfectly. The percussion is just as smooth. Probably the best theme in the game for me. I can't believe I haven't seen any cover band do this song. All in all, a very great tune for the SNES synth. Best part of all, it was created using Capcom's MegaMan X instruments.

  • The rhythm fits Gambit.

  • It does kind of sound like a slowed down Shadow Man's theme from Mega Man 3 doesn't it?

  • your right all these years i never notice it does kinda sound like a slower shadow man's theme from mega man 3

  • I always thought it sounded like the "Peter Gunn" theme but now that you mention it, it does sound like Shadow Man's theme.

  • @FirestormChameleon Wow, that's so right, hey man thanks alot for sharing this with us XD

  • @FirestormChameleon

    same capcom composer

  • Shadow Man!
